sappy, theres no need for you to talk bad about their keeper, hes not the one on this board talking... im sure he played his hardest and doesnt need you to talk bad about him. do you play for saint martins?

Thread Synopsis:
STM wins 1-0 on a sloppy field. Menard has some sore losers. STM rubs it in.
You know, there's really no excuse for the host team not to find a half decent field to play on for AT LEAST a playoff game. And don't even try to say "well we had to play in the same conditions too!" That's irrelevant buddy.

how is irrelevant?? if u can come to alexandria and find some "decent" fields to play on then let me know. and menard doesnt have sore losers, im not complainin about losing. we lost fair and square and theres nothing we can do about it. st. martins obviously outplayed us. a team doesnt outplay someone and lose! i mean, come on, STM put one in and menard didnt. congrats to them for the win.
by the way this thread isnt even about the game. now itd be nice if everyone would get off my back about stating my opinion for the upcoming game. all i was stating was my point of view about my experience of playing against STM.
the thing that got me started was the "If the game was on a dry pitch, its easily 4-0" comment. i mean how can u come to that? we already played in good conditions in the showcase and it was still 1-0. obviously STM had the better team this year. (now thats not being a sore loser is it Mr. Bish??)

Esungoal Menard as a team lacks quality...you talk about at least you wont have to get embarrased...thats the dumbest comment ever cause you know you would love to be in the semis...and you are a senior and you couldn't beat a team with no senior at all...and maybe its that your keeper sucks and he can't catch it he can only deflect the ball to the back of the net The comment above and the comments by esungoal4 are not good and don't speak well for StM. They beat Menard, fair and square. To rag on the other team's players is bad form. Respect, man. That's a big part of what sport is about. Show some. St Louis wins this by 4 or 6 to nil. University is at least as good as StM and while I don't always believe in head to heads, this seems pretty clear to me.

It's irrelevant because playing on a sloppy small field isn't soccer, and doesn't determine who the better team is. You might as well just have a PK shootout to decide the winner. There are several decent fields in the Alexandria/Pineville area. The Rebel Cup fields were ok, and oh yeah, don't you have a certain university by the name of Louisiana College? They have a soccer team so I'd imagine they'd have a good soccer field.

Yeah we have a lot of good fields here, at least better than what the conditions at menard sound like. By the way is somebody complaing about a field being too wide. I love wide fields.

who said anything about revenge? that stlouiskicksbut69 guy could be a frehsmen or sophmore with no need to hold a grudge against STm. I personally think its going to be a close match.

St. Martin's played St. Louis without several starters in a scrimmage as they were at the state swim meet. St. Louis' coaches are certainly taking St. Martin's seriously or they would not have been scouting them during the playoff games. Contrary to the belief of the western part of the state it looks like the Saints are a team of destiny and will beat STL by a goal to advance and play either Teurlings or STA in the finals. Why Shreveport?
