How can you get offensive mvp and not be on one of the lists You will not be named on 1st team if you get one of the MVP awards, its a higher overall award.

Congrats to Arlan Brown from Sam Houston. Good to see you getting some recognition. Wish you were still around the St Amant area(on your own of course and not just because of Katrina). Good luck in the future Arlan!

congrats to all the Dragons on this list.
It was a great year and I hate to see it come to an end. I will miss my Sr Boys next year. I had a blast with the music and announcing all year for y'all.

Though some players made this list that probably didn't deserve it due to the usual politics, the Leesville keeper not being on the list is probably the most ridiculous omission.
Glad to see Coach Wilbur get recognized.

Is this the official all district list, because I can see at least a couple of pretty glaring ommitions in these lists. What about Josh Kelly from Pineville? He carried the scoring load while Nick Weeks was on the sideline, and a sophmore from Tioga was selected over him. I know the boy from Tioga. A good player to be sure but not really second team ahead of Josh. I can't speak for a lot of the others from other schools with out their numbers because that is pretty much how most of the parents know them.
I would also like to know what midfield positions the first team midfielders played (ie. left, center, or right) don't feel it is right to leave Joseph Ussery out of these lists as he was extremly solid all during district. If the prerequisite for making the all district lists is that they have to be a center mid, then why is it that the hardest position on the field to fill is left outside mid as there are not too many players that can use both feet?
Just a few questions to get coaches to look at what is going on on the field and not just "playing politics" by voting for their players because they feel they have put up with the coaches for four years and deserve recognition for that. And that really doesn't even bring up the question of what it says about a district that has a freshman for offensive MVP and a sophmore as a devensive MVP both from the same school. Sounds more like their coach voted for them while possibly all the other coaches didn't vote for the players they put up.

He did get defensive MVP, to be honest when i watched deridder their defenders were just big and fast, not very skillful. Michael probably got it because he played well at sweeper, then for the playoffs went in and played really well in goal. How many people did that this season. Nick's good but wasn't he out a lot?

like i said before and somebody else, all district has always been politics, sorry but chris clark wasn't even a regular starter for ASH and i could think of better defenders too.
