Everybody said the D1 boys matchup was a joke but st. Pauls held them till mid second half before confusion in the back led to an own goal. Jesuit only scored one for themselves. A cakewalk would have been 4-0 +goals. soo much for that prediction

also i think the wind was a big factor in the 2nd half when jesuit got their two goals. in the first half jesuit had the better scoring chances, but st pauls was able to move the ball up the field and had a few chances of their own. in the second half the wind got much stronger and was in the st pauls players faces. it gave jesuit a huge advantage and made it nearly impossible for st pauls to clear the ball. basically w/o the wind it would have been a much closer game.

this thread is funny henry 10 and alumniguy i guess yall did not watch the game..........if jesuit would have finished their chances in the first half or not shot them right at the keeper or wide or over the game would have been 3-0 at half sps only chance of ever scoring was trying to kick it over the jesuit backline and let frankie run the sps backline was cracking way before jesuit ever scored and the first goal was not an own goal.........dont get me wrong i give sps all the credit they played hard but the game was never really in doubt

your right jesuit was clearly the better team, but the wind in the 2nd half gave jesuit an extra advantage ontop of just being a better team that st pauls couldnt handle. and for jesuit not finishing their chances..finishing is how the ball goes in the net and if you cant finish chances they count for nothing
