look at caddo with a strong sophmore class, dang watch out for them in the next 2 years

no real problems with this. i think the defense is a little questionable in two places. i think either Spencer Inman or Cameron Mehl (i know he's listed as a midfielder, but he played defensive mid, and when you play for airline that might as well have been sweeper) should have been there instead of those two. Also Bennett Bynum should at least be on the list somewhere.

Bynum should definately be on that list, as he's at least (a lot) better than the Natch. keeper (that is not to say that the Natch keeper is bad, he's actually pretty good).
I agree with f that Cameron or Spencer should have gotten first team (not necessarily both, but one)

One suprising aspect is that there are more people from Airline (4th place) than Byrd (3rd place) on the 1st team and mvps. I wasn't expecting that.

I'm surprised to see Jose didn't make the list at all. The first team seems pretty good but after that it doesn't seem very credible in a lot of places.

The only oddity I see here is Ethan Colbert. No doubt a great player, but he is definately not a forward. He played forward for what, three games? While goals scored should have nothing to do with this he (to the best of my knowledge) scored in the single digits. I think what may have got him this award is his nice chip in the Lafayette game. But really, that was really a shot that he could've made had he been playing midfield. I agree that Jose also should have made it and maybe even Jimmy Cowles

if adam west had been healthy instead of missing half the season...he would be on 1st team, and jimmy should definately be ahead of most of the people on there

That caught my eye, too. He is a good midfielder (six goals this year), but if he had gotten his honors at his natural position it would have been a clean sweep with Caddo getting all four midfield positions, thus his recognition as a forward (my guess). I think most people assumed that all the Levski starters would make 1st team and they didn't disappoint. I feel bad for Jimmy Cowles - he would have been there too if he had started. But he’ll be a slam dunk next year with the others I'm fairly certain.

This has to be a difficult job to vote on these guys but I also like Spencer as 1st team when it comes to the Magnet players. You never have to wonder what kind of effort you will see from him.

Magnet will be in good hands next year with Chris, Spencer, Robert, and Nick being the senior leaders. All of these guys had a great year and I'm glad they'll be leading the way next year!

Byrd should also be in good hands next year with Allen Degges and Matt Gill. We'll be an interesting team next year. I really don't know how we'll do, but we should be able to edge out second if not better if we play to our potential.
But being realistic, and knowing Magnet should be the best representative for N. LA soccer, I'd like to see a few of those other seniors step up a little more (just maybe not in district lol). One of them's been doing that since he was a sophomore, and even moreso this year. and the others have also had their moments this year. Chris was a beast in PKs and against Shreve, and Spencer has had plenty of moments this year where he stepped up.
I hate to say it, but I'd say a majority of the leadership will come from one or two seniors and then I'd expect the juniors to be significant leaders as well.
