is it illegal, by LHSAA rules, for a private school to offer a student free tuition if that student participates on their soccer team? isnt this recruiting, which is illegal by LHSAA rules?
i know bastrop got their football state title taken away from them after illegaly recruiting players after katrina, i don't know how they did it, but obviously there are rules about recruiting, if anyone knows them, feel free to post them.

I agree coachray40, in a recent unscientific poll of all schools (wrongfully) accused of performing recruiting acts for their programs, 100% of their coaches said that there was no recruiting going on in their programs. So there, it is official, no recruiting goes on anywhere in the State of Louisiana............................

In the Bastrop case, I believe it was b/c a new orleans coach left NO after Katrina. He went to Bastrop. He then called his players who were scattered and recruited them to Bastrop. Some did in fact relocate to Bastrop to play for the coach, and the team won the championship.
