Mine: 1) St. Paul's (of course I'm biased)doesn't that defeat the purpose? if everyone went with who they wanted to win state and not who they thought were the best teams, the rankings would be pointless. i realize they're only rankings and they basically are anyway, but at least allow them some credibility.

Don't forget East Ascension, they were the DII runner up for the last two years.

st. thomas more should be in the top ten. Returning ten starters and looking for a little redemption from that thing that happened last year.

St. Paul's no #1. I have to see evidence that they can be a top 5 to say there are #1 is a bit far fetched. Many teams are returning 7 starters. Hell Jesuit's Varsity is just Juniors and Seniors and they only return 4 or 5 starts a year, but yet look at them...
I just can't put St. Paul's at the #1 stop at the preseason, even if they do/could end up there at the end of the year. No disrespect to the Wolves program, there is just no way I can rank a team #1 without proven success over a team that continuesly has success year end year out.

Please post new districts for Lafayette area teams. I seem to recall with STM moving up, LHS and Acadiana are now in separate districts.
