According to the schedule on this board, the game is Nov 17th. If that is true, then I side with Jesuit.
3 Reasons: 1. They are Jesuit 2. Acadiana football advanced in play-offs 3. Jesuit football lost to Mandeville
Jesuit should be close to a full and complete roster

Jesuit doesn't have any players from the football team so that doesn't play a part for them.

Jesuit will win. Acadiana will hang for a while but the Jesuit will show there power at the end. Should be a good game.

acadiana consistently puts out teams that can beat any and everybody on any given day. i personally think jesuit is overrated so im taking acadiana 2-0

My heart says rams but my head says jesuit at this point in the season. It will also depend on how the rams attack the jays. if lou tries to sit back and just play defence like he has done in the past I think the jays win easy. If he attacks and plays head up his team has a good chance at winning.
no matter what happens i am looking for both of these teams to go very deep in the playoffs.
Good luck rams!!!!

Jesuit's varsity starters are as talented as last year's; even though many people who post here believe that Jesuit played only seniors last year and had to completely re-load this season, there are six returning starters from last year (4 juniors, 1 sophomore, and 1 freshman), and the bench is as deep and talented as ever. On the other hand, the loss of the senior goalie who was the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year, leaves a huge hole to fill. The starting goalie did a great job against St. Paul's, and if he can keep up that level of play, the team should be solid at that position.
The big question is not if, but when, this group will come together and play at the same level of last year's team.
They covered a big part of the learning curve in the 1st half of the St. Paul's game last week, and I expect that this game against another quality opponent in Acadiana this week-end will help speed their development also.
It is unrealistic to assume that Jesuit or any team could have another year like last, going undefeated and virtually unscored on, so another big test for this year's team will be how they react after a loss, but I think that the quality teams Jesuit is playing before District begins, the Dutchtown Tournament, and the Dallas Tournament can only help them down the stretch.

JESUIT 0 - ACADIANA 0
Very dominating performance by Jesuit; they controlled the ball nearly the entire game, and had numerous good shots on goal.
The mid-field of Jesuit kept Acadiana from mounting any kind of attack, and limited their offensive options to playing the ball over the top of the mid-field to get it to their strikers. The Jesuit back kept pressure off the goalie by picking up Acadiana's long balls and playing them laterally, away from the Acadiana attack.
Kudos to the Acadiana keeper who made many saves and kept Acadiana in the game thru its' conclusion.
Acadiana had a couple of good opportunities off some free kicks in the 2nd half, the closest coming when the goalie fielded the ball but was charged and knocked back into the goal with the ball in his hands. At first Acadiana thought they had scored, but the ref made the correct call and play was re-started.
Acadiana's players had excellent distance and placement with their free kicks, and Jesuit looked sloppy at times trying to cleanly clear those balls.
It looked like two teams headed for the playoffs today; I think both will do well in district.

I think Jesuit maintain the most of the possesion the first half while Acadiana maintained most of the possesion second half. If you combined the two halves it was pretty much even game. Both teams had oppertunities to score but couldn't execute. JEsuit looked very effective off counter attacks while Acadiana looked good on set pieces. Acadiana did score but it was called back because the ref said the AHS player ran into the keeper. Both teams looked good and looks like they have great talent. I even heard both teams are still missing a starter or two, but I'm not sure. Great Job by both teams though! They represented 1 and 2 well.
