I think Shreve will do well in this Tournament but they will not win it. They are very young but very talented and they have a very deep bench. Give them 1 more year and I think they will be one of the top 3 teams in the state.

why would you have mandeville,st.michaels, newman, and university to win it all but not dutchtown when it is their own tournament?

A: Laffy B: Capt. Shreve (toughest bracket in my opinion) C: St. Thomas More D: Jesuit
Overall - Jesuit
2nd division - Jesuit JV

Memo to Dutchtown, when hosting a tournament, never and I mean never bracket the defending DI State Champion, (psssst......who by the way never lost a single game last year), in the same bracket as the host team, that being you, Dutchtown. I do not care if Jesuit graduated the entire team, the underclassmen all transferred and they had a coaching change, still wouldn't do it. But Good Luck and let me know how it turns out for you. I like the confidence.

Before District starts it's all about getting experience!! I would say:"Smart move Coach Chambless!". If I could chose a bracket for my team, it would have teams like Jesuit, Lafayette and STM. At this point of the season, since we don't have a point ranking system set up for playoffs, winning or losing does not matter that much... but your players having the opportunity to measure themselves against the best in the state matters!!!!! ;D

Coach Ray is correct...as he usually is....ahem... :-)
Dutchtown will play the same opponents as Jesuit and BRHS: St. Thomas More, St. Thomas Acquinas, and St. Michael's....the best TWO point totals from the 6 teams involved will advance.
Though with all of those Saints involved with the opponents....We probably don't have too much of a chance....haha....well on second thought...if NOTRE DAME can LOSE as much as they have, we may have a chance after all..haha

STM will surprise many teams, very deep bench. Will take this tournament. Jesuit J.V. will win the other side.
