They are a solid team but lack a great keeper Byrd played Loyola in a scrimmage. I had the chance to referee them in a scrimmage and in a regular season match a week ago. They didn't get their whole team back until the jamboree due to football and cross country. They had 10 kids playing those sports who were not allowed by the school AD to start soccer until their fall sport was completed. 6 of those 10 kids are now starters. They are a young but decent team. Parkway may have a couple of players who are better (Barcelona and Schreck) but Loyola may have more solid players throughout the starting 11. I would not be surprised to see Loyola win its district this year.
