THE STM/JESUIT GAME AT THE DALLAS TOURNAMENT WAS VERY COMPETITIVE. STM FINSIHED AND JESUIT DIDN'T; IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT. BOTH TEAMS PLAYED SOLID DEFENSE AND POSSESSED THE BALL EQUALLY, AND BOTH HAD SEVERAL SHOTS ON GOAL. I THINK BOTH WILL DO WELL IN THE PLAYOFFS, BUT AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, IF JESUIT CAN'T FIND A WAY TO FINISH WITH MORE CONSISTENCY THEY WILL CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE AGAINST GOOD COMPETITION LIKE STM AND VANDEBILT, BM, RUMMEL, ETC.
JESUIT GETS ONE OF THEIR SENIOR STARTERS WHO HAS BEEN OUT WITH A BROKEN LEG SINCE BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED BACK LATER THIS MONTH, AND THREE OTHER SENIOR STARTERS WHO PLAYED IN THE FIRST STM/JESUIT GAME DIDN'T MAKE THE TRIP TO DALLAS FOR SATS/ILLNESS. HOPEFULLY THESE FOUR PLAYERS WILL HELP JESUIT IMMENSELY DOWN THE STRETCH.

Yeah Jesuit will probably only play about 15 players come district and of those 15, 4 didn't play.

Is my math wrong, or have Jesuit already conceded more goals than in the whole of last season?

Ok, since we are guessing here, lets do the math. Jesuit beat STM 1-0 w/ 3 of the 4 playing. STM beat Jesuit 3-1 w/ them out. That is a four goal swing because 3 kids were missing. That would mean that w/ 3 players missing from Jesuit STM is a 4 goal favorite so with all four there, it should be a draw. You get the point, this is all hog wash. These are two of the best teams in the state and regardless who is in or out, at any given time these two teams can beat each other. This is one of STM's best teams ever being 20 deep and this is another solid Jesuit team that is probably not as deep as in the past. It probably also means that which ever team remains the healthiest will have the upper hand. Regardless, it should be a heck of a race to the finish.

haha it means that the two teams are equally good so it's not a big deal until they play each other in the playoffs..
