Today the Fury played the 15 Lafreniere Y league team. Y League won 3-2. The game was pretty boring. Y League had chances, but didn't put them all away. Fury looked decent in spells, but Y League was threatening them most of the game. They went up 3-1 about 15 minutes into the second half. The rest of the game was just pinged in Y League's half as they put in their bench players. Fury scored their second with the last kick of the ball. Fury is going to have a hell of a tough time at regionals if they get soundly beat by a team in their first game. Good luck to them and the Y-League team.

The Fury didnt even play all there best players....we all played the same amount. Plus the Fury was workin on abuncha new stuff and it was the first test. The goals were scored when a dude punched the ball into the back of the net with his hand, a dude jus lobed a volley and it went in, and an offsides. So if u wanna say Fury isnt gunna do a good job in regionals go ahead...c wat happens

i dont see how you say they got dominated by the Y-League team. the only time lafrenier possessed the ball was when the center backs had it, and they couldnt do anything with it bc they had no where to go but backwards. fury has been working on a new style, and i think it worked, fury would have controlled the whole game if there coach would have played the best players, he let everyone play the same amount since it was a scrimage. but come regionals time it will be all business.

I think the goalie and the attackers are Houma players who are all playing for Lafreniere next season also.

From what I saw the Y-league team didn't play all their best players either. Their forwards sat the bench the entire second half. They had 13 year olds out there. So Fury, if you can't handle kids younger than you, I can see how that guy thinks you aren't going to do well at regionals. Plus possession doesn't mean squat if you can't create chances. Fury just passed around the midfield all game and didn't do anything with it in the final third. Both goals were free kicks. It wasn't domination either way, but Y League definitely was better creating chances.

The Y league goalie was Ryan Porche. starting forwards Vinc Lee and Elliott Lewis are from Houma. Some other players are Jeff Romig, Aaron Hyatt, Jared L'Hoste, Lance Roberts; Ben Bologna, Andrew Cambus, Matt Chugden, Chris Denuna, Dale Flint, Robert Mingo, Grant Andrews. They're not all Lafreniere players. Mandeville, CSA and Lakeview.... basically a regional premier allstar team
Against the Fury, Lewis scored two, L'Hoste scored the third.
i'd love to see Y league play NOSA

The team is Laf+Houma+one player from Mandeville. That is the starters. The Lakeview kids sit the bench and the younger kids sit the bench. At least that's how it went in the game on saturday. Oh yeah +1 Carrolton player.

I think it would be a good game (Y League vs NOSA). Next year it will happen because that is Lafreniere's team next year. That should be a great state final. This is a preliminary thought but if Fury doesn't make it to the finals and it is a rematch of this year, the assets which Lafreniere are picking up will put them over the top. Plus I hear Micah from Fury wants to join Lafreniere. That good is fast and a hoss. Good addition.

Again NOSA shows how much class they have. Lack thereof I mean. NO CLASS AT ALL.

Neither Nosa nor fury won a game ..Nosa did tie one, but didn't score a goal in any games..Fury only scored one goal...a lucky one at that.
