just to say, i heard nosa was excellent....so if they merged, then what i saw sat. when i played against, they were still pretty good......but only beating a first time select team for new iberia 1-0 doesnt sound like nosa to me.... ;D

Heard that they were missing some players like Pablo and some kid who had committed to run track and some other player they said was good, so-o-o we'll see.

ever have one of those games where you shoot all day but nothing goes in? NO/LA (NOSA/Lafreniere) should have beat Iberia 7-0, but only put one in the net...

Jeff, a new kid from Philadelphia who just moved to the area, showed up at NOSA last night for practice, adding depth to the team

nola played in the laf tourney this week and beat the csa 17s 1-0 and the slidell 17s 5-1 but sun morn they played laf 16s and lost 2-1.....ive talked to some of the people on the team and they said they have no bench and that it will be hard to keep a team with 11 players

who were those other kids playin with the NOSA u-17's. One of them, the black kid, scored 2 goals on us (slidell unfortunately), and another who played defence, we couldn't get by at all. Are they new players, guest players, or what?

i play for laf. u-16 and used to play for nosa. the other players were U-15 guest players. The black kid was clinton smith, and the guy you couldn't get by was matt chugden. They were two of the best players on the team this weekend. Clinton was Nosa's biggest offensive threat and matt was solid on defence.

Cochran is injured and the other kid was the philly guy Jeffrey. Jeffrey's got good physical ability but technically he needs work...Right now though a player is a player we only got 13 and it seems like 10 are injured. However, in the spring I think we can really have a chance at being in the top three in state. To be honest I just want to beat Lakeview though. To kinda show that were not just some worthless put together team in NO.

Who else will you get in the Spring to help? Since you have only 13 and some are injuried, I was wondering if anyone would be transferring in to play with ya??? What about Pablo?

Pablo is a big rumor, thats all I can say. He was supposed to be back on our Gamblers team and never returned so right now I couldn't tell you anything about him. I dunno who will get in the spring, but we only need about 3 or 4 more quality players to give the Burn and Lakeview a hard time this year. Well maybe just Lakeview....who knows.
