dempsey while they were in he can rap too ! youtube.com/w/DON%27T-TREAD?v=b0RsWqJinIY&search=Clint%20Dempsey...it's ok to laugh... all joking aside...i feel that although the US side will struggle against both the Czech's and Italy...that both of these sides are beatable...Ghana...with however much trouble they've been through at the African Nation's Cup...I do not see progressing from this group as either 1st or 2nd and will probably finish rock bottom...although if on good form, with Essien playing well...they could make a tournament of it... I can see the USA progressing...but they will go down with at least one loss...if the squad plays out well (the best selections, no injuries, etc.) we should be able to play with most...

Buffon....Cannavaro.....Camoranesi....Del Piero
I hate Juventus......I've always loved both Milan clubs. If anyone saw Juve beat Inter last night, you'll have seen just how solid those four italians were......
Looks like Serie A is definitely over.....
ps....ACMilan won 4-1 away....hat trick from Inzaghi, and 1 from Gilardino.....also sounds pretty solid to me!

I know exactly how solid the Italian side is...however...im more worried by Pirlo and Toni...Pirlo, best passer of the ball in the world bar maybe Xabi Alonso...im not sure if we will be able to hold in the back against the physicality of Toni...although Oguchi Onyewu could easily take him in that department, but I haven't seen much of him as of late...

If Oguchi Onyewu could "easily" take him in that department, then Italian clubs would welcome him on board immediately, if not sooner.

He's been a target of many top European Clubs, United etc...He, for a while during qualifying, was a mainstay in our backline, but has since returned to his club, Standard Liege, in Belgium....He's large...standing at 6' 4" and more physical than most...he will be a surprise for many, and I wouldn't be surprised for him to make the move to a larger club this summer...
His only downfall results in both his inability to mark smaller players, and his habit of taking his physicality beyond what's allowed...fouls, cards, etc...
I believe that Onyewu could take Toni...He has been very effective against those taller strikers...most notably Jared Borghetti...who...not up to the level of Toni...is of comparable height...although Toni may be a good bit thicker...but that wouldn't be too much of a problem for "Gooch"...
