I'm glad that Crouch scored, maybe he'll get some more chances for the National Team. I know that a lot of the English were questioning his value to the team.

this was a good win for england, I watched the game twice and they really had a hold on the game the entire time, the goal by Uruguay was top class yet I doubt he could do it again to save his life. Joe Cole was outstanding in this game also and Crouch did what he needed to do. Wright Phillips also had a great game. Hope they get a better result next game though, really stamp their authority on a team

Crouch was a beast, if Owen doesnt become fit, id take Crouch over the nervous Bent. If England picks 4 forwards to take, my picks would be Rooney, Owen, Crouch, and Defoe. I'd sub in Crouch at the 70th minute every game because of the effect he has on the team. Anyone have any idea when Lampard will be better?
