Out of those choices above, which striker would you not take to the world cup?
I left out Peter Crouch because he's a completely different type of player.

if u don't take owen, your freakin crazy, he's a beast, he just hasn't been able to do much this year since he signed with Newcastle, which is becoming one of the worst teams in the premier league, but still doesn't mean that he is a great player, you might as well take him off that poll.

Fowler is too old, but he is still God. But there is no question he won't go. I think Sven will go with only 4 forwards.. Owen, Rooney, Defoe, and Crouch. I think Bent won't be that good this year, but will be on the squad for sure in 2010.

i agree way to go liverpool with riise's absolute fantastic rocket and cisse's lucky strike it makes it all the better to see every striker score luis garcia - definitely my favorite player on liverpool, extremely sharp, talented, good footwork, and nice shots, not to mention made the Europe team of 11 as right wing midfield he made i believe 3 assists or 4 assists and played a vital part in this win against birmingham

I love Garcia too, you can always count on him to be a catalyst in attack. I especialy loved the dummy leave he did on morientes' goal.
