With all of the noise concerning him last week, and a steped up campaign to stop this kind of cheating, do you think it would be fair to punish him for it? I think so, because he is a cheat who tries to hurt the other team instead of helping himself. I would love to see him punishes, as well as any other players who ruin the game with their antics.

Dont worry...I have plans in place to push my shopping cart into him at the local supermarket in Cobham, and see his reaction. The thing with Drogba is that he just makes too much out of every single challenge that it just looks ridiculous. We was the man of the match against Man City, but all Chelsea fans booed when they heard that.

Definitely. Red cards should be issued for acting hurt after the dive. At least a yellow for the dive. It's just pathetic, and the first Cantona commercial says it perfectly, "For too long, we have let liars and cheaters.... make a fool of the game."

i think its a straight red for a dive and the FA should look at it and give them a fine for it so it can make the players stop the diving. the players are capable of taking it past the players but if they did something wrong and could not get the ball do the worst dives i have seen and it hurts the game. when the players dive, every single one of the players look the same there face crunches up and they bend there backs in the air till it almost breaks. i find it histerical but if anyone does that to england in the worldcup and wins the game by diving i will be so furious lol

Exactly it's straight up cheating. And I know people that do it. Only problem is, in America, it's starting to be taught. I can't believe how many people on my club team will dive rather than play on, and try to use their advantage to score with the run of play instead of a spot kick. Not to mention the people we play against. I mean guys just start to fall before they even touch you, and then they kick you with one of their legs to make it look like it's your foul.

i lost it in that game because the ref was giving them everything and we got taken out badly and got nothing. so really diving can be a tactical way to win but it makes me mad.

i think in professional terms i think there should be a big punishment for the players who do a pointless dive. to try and stop people doing it

deridder what came were you talking about? As much as I hate diving it's now a part of the game, I got fouled the other day and a ref came up behind me and said, "I'm surprised you didn't go down on that" because I was fouled but stayed up without getting any advantage and he blew his whistle, it shows how much they expect it now. However, Drogba shouldn't be fined because his diving is a form of entertainment, rarely does he go down unless he's been touched, however, poke him with your finger and he makes it look like he's been sniped from the crowds, it's hilarious to watch and i think that's why he has received no punishment

haha thats true i was on about the lee game. but it just bugs me when they win the challenge off a dive and shows there not good sportsman. and you know Ian that a loose my cool abit too much in games because of frustration and the lee game got to me, they didnt understand me very much because there school is an england is a second language school.
