I hope Acadiana can pull through. I think what kills them in this game is the depth. Jesuit has unbelievable depth, and Acadiana has not so much. In an intense game like this, the starters will get tired really fast. I advise Wilks, Leblanc, and the rest of the mids/forwardds not to get excited and chase the ball everywhere in the first 5-10 minutes. If Acadiana can just relax and play THEIR game, I have confidence that they can pull it out. All out boys...we don't want this to be your last game, and neither do you.

I think Acadiana has an excellent chance to win if they listen to Frank. Wilks, especially...He comes out with so much energy and chases the ball all over, which isn't bad in most cases. But that will be bad against Jesuit. Wilks, Saboe, Credeur and Leblanc will have to bring it for the full 80+...no lapses, guys.

i was outside today with my pellet gun and shot a blue jay in the head... i laughed as i watched it fall to the ground. I think that's kind of how the game is going to go....

I really would like to see Acadiana win this game and am rooting for them. That said I would predict a 2-1 Jesuit win. Originally I was leaning to predicting 3-1, but cut it back due to Jesuit's low goal production of late.

You know it is very interesting. How many posts by Jesuit people have you seen? I have seen none. I have my own opinions about that, but I will keep those to myself.
On the other hand, I would like to see Acadiana win this game, but playing Jesuit is very intimidating just by virtue of the fact that they "are" Jesuit. There is this enigmatic aura about those guys, for example, their virtual absence from this forum, that makes them "seem" almost unbeatable...
Brace yourselves Rams...Those city boys can't deal with a bunch of tough Cajun Boys who ain't scared...Go getum...
Besides that, I want to see another Cajun Country LHS/AHS State Championship game...
Where ya at Goat?

Acadiana 2 Jesuit 1 Great game through and through, decided by a PK or free kick.

Jesuit 2-0. And I agree, one would be on a free kick or PK.

Jesuit 1-0. I have seen them play twice and I agree that their depth is their biggest asset. They simply wear teams down. Brother Martin was up 2-0 in the first half with a wide open shot missed toward the end of the half that would have made it 3-0. They came back and scored 2 goals in the second half and won in a shootout.
However I believe that they can be beaten. Acadiana should not be afraid to attack early and often. 2 goals will almost undoubtedly win the game.

i feel if your going to beat jesuit, you have to play 80 minutes of intense high pressure soccer. having seen them against hlb, and the late push by just four players put their defense into a slight dizzy spell. do that for 80 minutes and jesuit will be in a dog fight with acadiana giving itself every chance to win. the rams dont have three guys with about 20 goals for no reason. defense is good, no doubt. if the center mids dont find a way to stop the outside ball movement by jesuti, it might look a little like the hlb game. should be interesting and what better place to have it than in LAFAYETTE.
coaches, do everyone a favor and dont schedule this game the same night and time as lhs/cat game. youll; get more money at the gate from those fans who want to see two of teh best games all year.
being a lion myself, i hate to say this, but go rams. to bad if the lions and rams make it to the finals they have to travel to the big easy for the finals. bring it back to lafayette. suffering from a flashback. (it happens)

Hey lhssoccerfan I found a post from a "supposed" Jesuit player Wow, is this what we have to talk about with the playoffs right around the corner. First off i am going to bash a few. the only people you really see on this board are from joke for programs. Coach ray just shut up. AND FOR ALL YOU WHO HAVE NEVER PLAYED JESUIT WE HAVE NOT SCRUBS PERIOD. ANY COMBINATION OF PLAYERS IN OUR PROGRAM CAN THROW 19 UP ON BAD TEAMS. The people out there crying are jealous of our program and well should be. The best thing i got form this board this year was coach ray getting kick off a mderator nice. your points are useless and to use the board as a place to find games wow what a joke of a program. have a good one all keep being jealous of JESUIT It was on the Jesuit 19, St Augustine 1 thread and is the only one of its kind i've seen
