Okay, here's a post from a Jesuit fan as requested. I say Jesuit wins, 1-0. However, I'm concerned with the recent trouble we've had putting the ball in the net. We've had too many undisciplined shots going over the net. If we play like we have the last two games, we'll have a lot of trouble winning this one.

I'm really pulling for the Rams to bring this one home on the home field....but I don't think anyone in the state has the depth of Jesuit, but maybe Acadiana will be the ones to give them their only upset this year....Should be a good one though.

if Acadiana wants to win this game, they have to find a way to play and mark on the wings, otherwise Wilks will be burnt 60 minutes in.

GO AHS 2-1 OT. Acadiana gets up 1-0, but Jesuit pulls one back, then Acadiana scores in OT and wins it! GOO RAMS. thats my prediction

everyone talks about the depth of Jesuit and how they can put any combination out on the field and whip-up on a team... well i am here to voice that as of late, they havent impressed me any...I guess they just ran out of goals against St. Augustine 19-1 and now in the playoffs they can't produce a 3-0 convincing win over a team. Hats off to Jesuit for making it so far without a loss.. Unfortunately I believe that they lose this one....I see Acadiana drawing blood first and holding down there home field to a 1-0 game...

I am basing this off of Jesuit almost blowing the game vs. Vandy and really nearly blowing it to Comeaux.. The only game I can really seek from Acadiana was the loss to Lafayette in whom was beat by Jesuit.. So and interesting low scoring game i believe..

Seen both teams play i think acadiana has a better midfeild but jesuit has better forwards and a better bench. But im partial to acadiana's deffense so i give them that. Acadiana is gonna have to play really well if they want to move on and i think they can and will.
Acadiana-2 Jesuit-1
No OT, no questionable calls, no pks; just good hard fought goals 1 comes in the 1st half 2 in the second half tied w/ 15 mins left then acadiana puts it away.

I hope I am wrong, but I predict Jesuit 3-1.
Jesuit scores within the first 10 minutes. I watched Acadiana play against high constant pressure and aside from Credeur, the defense gets shell shocked. I think LeBlanc knots it up for a 1-1 halftime. Jesuit scores again within the first 10 minutes of the second and then again with less than 5 minutes as Acadiana is pressing forward for the equalizer.
Someone said they thought Acadiana's mid was better than Jesuit's.......not too sure about that. IMHO Jesuit has the best mid in the state in all divisions and they have 8 players that can come in at any time. They play wide and then back to the middle and that will be what beats the box 4 mid that Acadiana runs.

They communicate really well and seem not to lose balls in the middle. About the box four(not a stab at you) but do you honestly think Coach Lucious(best coach around) has'nt adjusted things for this game. Lafayette plays the same way Jesuit does and to have loss that game to the lions by that much...he did some adjusting..Rams step it up in this one..

no offence to coach lou but his game plan last yeart against jesuit is what cost him the game. he made his kids play D first and not there usual game. we had very little push and we waited for jesuit to come to us. I think that was a mistake. earlier in the year when he played jesuit the first team had success pushing to ball on jesuit and managed 2 goals against them. i hope he does it different this year

only way to beat Jesuit is to pressure their back line hard. That is the only soft spot for them. Acadiana has the benefit of having LeBlanc who will pressure them better than anyone else in the state, but changing up formations and changing style of play on short notice usually hurts more than helps in high school soccer.

as much as i hate to admitt it i think old ref is right. i do think coach will learn from his mistake and turn loose the dogs. hdkiga is right, to beat jesuit you must put pressure on there back line. scoring early will be a key to beating them. they don't play from behind much and i think if acadaina can jump on them they will come out on top. GO RAMS
I won't be at the game,(and it is killing me), because i have come down with the flu. i am sure goodie will keep me posted on his cell. i will be on pins and needles waiting to here from him. once again good luck and kick some bluejay bu**.
