Division II 1. Neville 2. Sam Houston 3. Vandebilt Catholic 4. St. Michael 5. Cabrini 6. Teurlings Catholic 7. DeRidder 8. Parkway 9. Salmen 10. Tioga

Just going off of last year's playoff brackets. Not sure who lost what starter-wise. Let the debate begin.

I can see Vandebilt @ the #2 spot in D-2, I just think they need to sustain a little deeper in the postseason. But they have to be one of the fav's in the new D-2.
Interesting how you automatically shot SSA and STM to the top of D-1, though.

Nice of you to include Salmen in the top ten for Division II. My daughter plays for them and I don't believe they will have a team this year. Shame because Division II is very weak.

Sorry to hear that, we played them last year short some players. I think game would have been more competitive if the regular team was there. Hope for the player's sake that a team can happen.

It's great to see Tioga in the top ten. Just to let you guys know, after much soul searching Coach Walker resigned from Tioga and Dwain Sketo, a referee assignor and former coach for Bolton's Boys team has taken over.
The tournament is going ahead as planned for those of you who have either committed, sent in their registration already or have shown interest.
It was a tough decision for Brian, but we are self-employed and business dropped by 50% last year with him out of the shop 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for almost 4 months for soccer. We couldn't get a field to practice on after hours like many of the teams are able to do so we kind of got backed in a corner and had to decide on soccer or eating. Our kids are happy eating won! LOL.
Good luck to all this year!

In Division I the only team I question is the Lafayette High team. With 9 members still playing premiere tournaments or running cross country, it is hard to say what kind of team they will have. After losing 15 starters to graduation in the last 2 years this is their rebuilding year. But with that said, they have some talent coming back and if anyone can get them playing up to their potential, Coach Breaux can get it done.

I'm surprised Sam Houston is ranked ahead of DeRidder. DeRidder was the better team last year...and will be this year, I think, since we should have an even stronger team.
I think DeRidder has a firm goal to go farther this year than last year in the playoffs. Probably the biggest challenge is at the forward positions -- do they have THREATENING players? As the season progresses, I strongly suspect the forwards will develop and score more.
