What a game it will be. Two teams that are hot in the semis! could not ask for more.

I came away overly impressed with STM last night. Great talent on the field and on the bench.. They stayed composed and didn't get rattled after Byrd scored an immediate counter goal to tie it up at one to one.. I know nothing about the remaining teams, but STM gets my vote to win it all

I just can't imagine anyone being able to beat STM after watching them last night. Every position had size and SPEED. They were disciplined and worked very well together. They were very physical and determined. I did not see any "weak" players and that included those coming off the bench.

i disagree on the size and 'very physical' part of your statement, but each player had a high soccer iq and the offense operated well on triangle and wall passes. They weren't very physical, but physical enough

They were physical. When I say physical I do not mean dirty. They did not back away from contact or loose balls. They used their bodies for positioning. Maybe I am wrong, but that is what I call physical. And I think it is a good thing for the game and an important part of the game.

They were a well oiled MACHINE. I'd like to see them play STM boys just for the fun of it.

I had a chance to see the 1st half of STM/Byrd before catching 2md half of LAf/Barbe. I agree STM has great depth in players and soccer iq, it is obvious that they have a roster of players who play year round and when they sub there is no fall off in iq or in speed. They play very in space, but not the most physical team I have seen. I read in the laf paper online where their coach said they had to do a better job on 50/50 balls and balls in the air if they were going to win it all. I think he is completely correct, they controlled the majority of 50/50's in the 1st half against Byrd and had a 3 to 1 lead to show for it. They look very strong, but i have not seen the New Orleans teams play to compare them to say who has the Best chance to win?
