It is unfortunate that if all of the teams from "the district of death" advance past the first round, they will play each other in the second round. But it doesn't seem like anything can be done when the seedings result in such pairings. Heck, you see it in the NFL when division opponents who met twice during the year meet again in the first round. I think you are right. Good luck on the road today!

I don't believe that will work. Unfortunate yes, not feasable no. If you did, you have manipulation of positions which defeats the whole purpose. Coach's rankings have to be taken team for team, in order to keep everyone from LSUing about who played who in the regular season, Not perfect, but still better than previous. I think that's right, too. Thanks for the comment

Ursuline Academy - 4 S. Martin's - 0
Amy Selser had 2 goals and 2 assists; Nina Horne had 2 goals, including a highlight-reel blast for UA. Catherine Matthew-Parker was outstanding for St. Martin. Lots of end to end attacking. District 9, the "District of Death" heads to 2 intramural showdowns in the next round: Ursuline v. Newman; Franklin v. Sacred Heart

Does anyone have any update on either the E.D. White/McGehee game or the ESA/St. Thomas Aquinas game played Tuesday afternoon?
