In Reply to CoplRef, I would assume OCS would be behind, St. Freds, but I don't know much about the other teams in that district. Other then crowville and I assume the graduated thier best players.

Nop, We only lost a few seniors who were new to the game. Our best is our five seniors. Philips, bradley, chapman, kelly, and blount. We have slaughtered OCS the last three years. Not to brag but I have had 2 hat tricks against them in our last three meetings.

OCS has a new coach and the kids played together last season. I dont think they had any seniors last season. I think that they might shock some people because of the reason that they are gettin it together. They have at least 6 people i know of that can play and 2 play on my team which are extremely good.

They were young last season and they aren't a bad team. They just won't win first or second in the district. St. Freds will win it and we have our few good players and our stars that carry our other 5 bad players. I pulled out last years and the year befores scores and they are as follows. 4-1 crowville, 4-1 crowville, and 3-1 crowville. And the last game we were playing our freshman the second half.

I am not sure what game you were playing son, but was a referre on those games. The scores were OCS 1-0, Crowville 1-1(pks like 3-1) , Crowvile either 3-1 or 4-1 doesn't matter they won, and 3-2 you came back to win after being down 2 goals. That was the scores, and obviously close games except for the one game. Anyway, I do know that their new coach played Division I soccer and was an assistant coach at Marshall university , thats all I know of course we met him during the coaches / Ref meeting. maybe he can revamp that defense OCS has, its well weak to say the least. Maybe this coach has enough sense to put the proper players in place on that defense, I couldn't tell you how many games OCS could have possible won but their defense was terrible. OH well, anyway. Just curious to the crowville player on here, did you guys ever go to the cabosa tourney when you were like 11 or 12, I know there was a winnsboro team there that made the finals I was the referre during that game, they were a very good team for their age, no doubt, I am just wondering if that team is most of the crowville players?

Yes that was us we played rec plus a few years but had to move up because we beat everyone. Five of the players off of that team are on crowville. Everyone else play's MPSA. And the 1-0 loss to OCS was two years ago. The Pks were four games before the last. I said the last three meetings. But your right about us coming back three goals. We had two sick staters that didn't play until they had to. And as you can see once the played we won.

The coach's name is Bruce Deaton. He is the assistant coach of my little brother's team. Hes not there all the time because he runs marathons. He is a great coach and should help OCS a lot.

ocs will be decent this year, and crowville will play them very well. not sure who will come out on top of that one. that district is weaker now without loyola(don't worry we'll meet december 8th) and st.freds will definently dominate. loyola is gonna be a tough game for us, and hopefully a tougher one for them.... props to their keeper..that was one heck of a shoot out at independence stadium last year

Shreve has a good chance this year. They have two fowards that are quick and can finish when needed. the midfield is stout with lorant running it and duncan and barefield on the outsides. Then you have in the back a solid and reallyfast defense With Harris ,Mitchells and cowley. And lets not forget Wiemer in the goal
