St Paul may simply overpower this district with roster of seniors and their elbow-to-the neck hacker in the middle.
Next district games: MHS at Slidell FHS hosts Northshore, St Paul hosts Hammond, Covington and Pontchatoula
Showdown game is St Paul v. Covington on December 15.

mandy will have its 2nd defeat against Slidell (mandy has 1 win in 6 seasons against SHS).
Northshore will take FHS, should be close.
St.Paul walks over Ham, bro tim will limit goals.
CHS destroys PHS, no mercy.
Disagree that elbow-to-the neck = overpower district. CHS, with all their poormouthing, will dominate St Paul. CHS will not loose a district game.

FHS is 1-0-1 overall we tied St. Thomas last weekend 1-1...By the way, who's the goalie for Hammond bc he was prob the only thing keeping our game 3-0 instead of 10-0. Good job keeper

Season started Monday. The tie does not count.

I saw the match between you guys and Slidell. Yes, you guys looked good , but Slidell looked terrible. Why don't you let the season play out a little more before talking smack. There are some other matches coming up before before Christmas and I'm sure we will all get a better read on district. nm

I don't know if anyone is playing at Thanksgiving(post your schedules CHS cause I'm in town), but using the games captain has listed here are my picks:
CHS over PHS - closer than you may think - especially if its on the road
NHS over FHS BIGTIME - FHS has always had trouble with Northshore and this season will be no different
SPS over HHS - I see a rout. You give St. Paul too much credit, they win by at least 7 goals.
MHS over SHS - Slidell really looked bad. MHS played St. Paul tough. Look for a 3-2 / 4-3 type match.
Good luck too all of the teams. nm

Agree with Nick, Mandy controlled the ball against St Pauls in the first half for about 30 of the 40 minutes. St Pauls scored on a quick counter attack. St Pauls did much better in the 2nd half once they were down 2-1, but estimate 2nd half was close to 50/50 or slight edge to St Pauls. Mandy had a couple good scoring chances but they just did not go in. A couple were on set pieces and a couple on one on one with the keeper. Mandy could have won. St Pauls could have and did win. The next game should be a thriller.

Hold on coach. It looks like you are counting your forfeit win over Thibadoux, who forfeited all 3 games at the CYSA tournament. If so, then you must give Hammond a win also, their first in ___ years?

Looks like Captain goes 0 for 2: 1) Mandeville is in the top ten in the coaches poll and 2) Mandeville beat Slidell. Captain, perhaps you should switch to football or baseball, maybe you actually know something about them

This Friday on the Northshore: Fontainebleau at Covington St Paul's at Slidell Pontchatoula at Mandeville Northshore and Hammond Captain, any predictions? I'll go on a limb and say that Covington, St Paul's and Northshore remain undefeated, Mandeville moves into 4th place. But what if Fontaineblue comes to play . . .

Well I did not do so bad for tonight, only missed one. Congrats on your win.
As far as Friday, winners will be: Cov, StP, Mandy & Nsh.
Looks like we agree. That could be scary. I do not see an upset. What was the Mandy Slidell game like?

Wow Admiral, I had no idea you would take MY opinions so personal. So I guess I'm not as perfect as you. Give it time.
Hey based on Inman's scorekeeping, I still see you are with the bottom feeders but you still have plenty of time to pull yourself up with 12 games left in district.
I only see 1 problem for you, I hear you guys are going on holiday for Christmas, when all the other GOOD teams will be playing. You think your coach would show up so Cooper could have at least one practice?
Good luck. Its tough at the top. Merry Christmas.

We are playing in the St Paul Tournament. Website says Covington and Northshore, plus St Paul, are in it. Any bets that St Paul (Ms. Mason) will put us in the same bracket with Jesuit again this year?
