It is difficult to keep track of all the records, so please post corrections to any of the records you see.

I would have liked to see loyola higher but i only saw them in the playoffs and i was impressed but their record was very unimpressive so their ranking is obviously more realistic

SOORY, DON'T SEE LAFFY BEING AHEAD OF SHREVE. YES THEY ONE HEAD TO HEAD BUT THAT IS ONE GAME. LAFFY LOST 5 OTHER GAMES, TWO OF WHICH WAS A TEAM SHREVE BEAT TWICE. SORRY GUYS DOWN SOUTH, BUT AS YOU GUYS SAY ALL THE TIME ; ONE GAME DOES NOT MAKE A SEASON. CONGRATS TO LAFFY FOR MAKING IT TO THE FINAL AND BEATING SHREVE AT HOME.

Unfortunately, for you (I guess), winning one game does advance you to the next round and sends the opponent home. Good job by all teams.

A quick look at the numbers tell me Lafayette was a unanimous choice for 2nd place. I believe a very strong shreve supporter named shrevedad is one of the 10 people who vote. Sorry but the 10 voters got that one right my friend. Shreve was shut out twice all year Lafayette was one of those teams. Lafayette beat St Pauls on the road. Lafayette played Jesuit, and st pauls in the regular season Shreve didn't. Once the tournaments were over Shreve's schedule was not competitive Lafayette's was. Sorry but like I said the voters got that ranking right.

When that game is a semifinal on the road, 1 game does make a season. Lafayette deserves the 2 spot. My guess is that they are no happier with that than Shreve is with the 3 spot. Both were hoping for the spot on top. Neither was able to get it done. Congrats to all the teams. It was another great year for high school soccer in Louisiana.

shreve deserves what they got. they didn't beat one top 4 team. they tied dutchtown and brother martin and didn't even break bracket at st pauls. i think 3 is a pretty good spot for them

Rankings at the end of the season are not really important unless you are number one IMO....i think Shreve is happy with their number 3 ranking. that guy is not a Shreve player

You are right; that guy is not a Shreve player, nor is a father of a Shreve player. Just someone who has listened for this past year why Shreve didn't deserve to be ranked. Goat, we have met, and I do respect your thoughts; but one game is one game. Laffy beat Shreve that is ok. I think that if Laffy plays Shreve two more times Shreve wins both. Might just be my thoughts; but that is why this post allows us to express our thoughts. AND HECK NO IS SHREVE HAPPY WITH A NUMBER THREE RANKING!!!!!!!! THEY ARE UPSET WITH BEING ANYTHING BUT NUMBER 1.!!

THEY ARE UPSET WITH BEING ANYTHING BUT NUMBER 1.!! Hey I respect your opinion but it looks like 19 of the 20 people who vote in the two polls think like I do. Heck I am probably one of the biggest Shreve fans around. As a matter of fact I sat with shreve people not lafayette people watching the finals! I have become close to many of the shreve players more so than the lafayette players but if I am going to vote I have to vote how I honestly feel the teams should be ranked. In this case I think Lafayette gets the nod for 2nd. We could go back and forth on different aspects of the schedules and match-ups but in the end Jesuit is the champ and this ranking means absolutely nothing.

Goat, I love you man, but seriously, Ruston in front of us?
We beat them 2-0 in the playoffs, and lost to a talented ASH team with 10 players.
No love for my guys? What's up with that?

Playoffs is a one and done situation. Lafayette won and we were done. It still sucks, but that's reality. Shreve had a great season and I'm proud of all of them.

I've revamped the loJic ratings a bit to distance the severity in which teams are Great, good, average, below average and poor. I'll post the final ratings post-playoffs soon.
