It looks like St. Louis is the only team that performed like they have been expected to in this tournament.

STL vs Lafayette in the finals... Sounds like a great game.

Lafayette controled most of the game and was the better team tonight. It looked like St. Louis ran out of gas after the Central Lafourche game. But it should set up a good rematch in the Showcase. Good Luck to both teams this year.
Somebody want to give a review of the STL vs CL game? At least a score maybe?

The CL-St. Louis was a great game to watch. CL came out hard the first 10 minutes and St. Louis was lucky to not give up a goal. I think CL had 3 or 4 corner kicks and 2 or 3 throw-ins near the goal. St. Louis began to control the ball more and Joseph Lapira scored at about the 20 minute mark. He received the ball at about midfield and a beat all three CL defenders by himself. CL spent most of the rest of the first half trying to take-out Lapira. Some of the tackles were pretty vicious, but only one yellow card was given. St. Louis then scored early in the second half when they caught CL in the back on a throw-in which put #11 one-on-one with the keeper. CL never gave up and scored two goals in the last ten minutes. CL scored the first goal on a ball that came thru the box to the back post where a CL player beat the defender. The second goal came off of a shot from the 18 that deflected off of a St. Louis defender into the net. The game ended soon after and St. Louis advanced with the tie because St. Louis beat New Iberia and Comeaux 6-0 & 4-0, while CL won 3-2 & 2-1. Good Luck to both teams this year.
Looks like St. Louis's defense is struggling big time, especially on holding onto leads. Being up 4-2 on Vandy, and losing 6-4 is just uncalled for. Looks like they have a long way to go.
