Anyone watching the LAFAYETTE vs STM girls game. Please explain to me how you can allow EIGHT TO NINE MINUTES at the end of the game, when LAFAYETTES player was only down for 2-3 minutes.

That is a question for the referee, who should take all stoppages and time wasting into account when adding tome at the end of either half, not just when a player is injures. This can include injuries, repetitive substitutions meant to waste time, delaying tactics when the ball is in touch, goals, cautions, send offs, etc.

Wait, stop. I asked about this in the "woe is me" thread, and if I recall correctly, the answer was that in high school, you do not add time, except for after a goal is scored. While I agree with what happyjack suggested, I was given the impression that adding times for this was not allowed in high school soccer. Can such time be added?

Again wording issues that amount to the same thing, you simply stop the clock for all those things. And I do believe there were at least 3 goals scored in the second half. With substitutions made at that time, just that could be 3 minutes. However final answer does lie with the referee. His watch is official, and you know they have special watches.

Nfhs rule 6.2 states that clock will be stopped for "injury, penalty kick, caution, disqualification, following the scoring of a goal, and any other time the official indicates.". So, depending on the match, conceivably there could be a good bit of stoppage time.
