I predicted that game wrong. I suck, but I did say that if anyone was to upset someone else, Rummel would be the one.

I predicted that game wrong. I suck, but I did say that if anyone was to upset someone else, Rummel would be the one. Okay you are out of line there..Do you really in your mind think that the Rummel vs BM game was an upset... come on now guy do you keep up with this rivalry nest or what... They are not considered upsets. Man, so I guess if Acadiana would beat Jesuit it would be considered an upset in your book also! These teams are ranked in the top 5 ... you can't look at it as an upset.. They are supposed to happen. It's clearly a loss for the other team....All do respect I love BM and their coach, but trust me they knew, like they do everytime, that they have to play a near flawless game...so don't come around here stating that people are getting upset especially in these kinds of game..

If Acadiana beats Jesuit it is definitely an upset. I think Jesuit is the only team you can say that about though.

First of all, calm down, don't take it so personal. Oh, I know they are both great teams, but one team was the underdog, and Rummel was the underdog. It wasn't a big upset, but I think it was an upset none-the-less. Before Catholic BR was ranked, a win over Catholic by BRHS would have been considered an upset and we are big rivals. Maybe I don't get your point, but I think our definitions of upsets are different.

Any given team can win any given game at any given time... that's how I look at it. And I know nobody was serious there, but I just felt like saying it. Go Catholic!

I have noticed that quite a few people are insinuating that the top bracket will have the state champ and is the toughest bracket. I know Jesuit is the favorite, but I just thought the point should be brought up that 8 of laprep's top 12 are all in the bottom bracket.

Good point. I was thinking the same thing myself. The lower bracket has some excellent teams that will have something to say about the eventual champion. I believe we are in for some great soccer from here on to the end.
