Who will win, and which player(s) will lead their team to victory?

Griffins will win 2-0! The midfield will play a key roll in the victory over the Spartans.

well as a "Griffan" of course you are going to predict that way, but I was looking for some honest, non partial posts on the situation, but thanks for your opinion anyways.

D-town beat EA 6-2??? how did this happen? Ea lost to Lee this week 9-4 i think, and now another big loss to a team they beat 2-1.... did their team from the city tourny fall off the face of the earth?

I can't speak for the Lee game, but in the City Tour. the Griffins came out flat in the first half and didn't play their game. Today EA saw a different Griffin team, the team that plays an entire game as the final score showed.

I honestly don't think Dutchtown played a better game at all, we just came out with alot weaker team than we did in the tourney. Our defence is horrible and they showed just how much they can screw up in one game, but as a fact we haven't played a decent Saturday morning game all year so idk mabye next game we will give Dtown a run for their money who knows?

Watch the tapes. In the tourn. EA got a goal early...props to them. The second was a communication error in the defense that should have been cleared. Give EA credit they were up 2-0...but for the rest of the game it was a on slought (if that's the way you spell it) of Dutchtown's attacks. EA was lucky to get out, but they did...and they get the credit. They got the trophy with the little number "1" on it.
Move on...a week later...Dutchtown picks up where they left off...winning the midfield and attacking. EA could not keep up and its that simple. EA's defense was not at total fought. Any player on a field that blames one part of the team is off. It's a team sport for a reason....everyone plays defense...the higher up you win balls..meaning as forwards the more attacks you give yourself....EA lost the game in the midfield...the defense..and up top...
You got credit for beating them in the tourn. now give them credit for being the better team...They were.
Next game is exactly that...another game...for you to prove how much you've improved and for Dutchtown to do the same.
Good luck with the rest of your season.

I'll have to disagree. D-Town played a better game. I noticed in the middle of the second half that a majority of the EA players were bent over with their hands on thier knees, apparently out of gas. Conditioning has a lot to do with the way a player executes. I then looked at the Griffins, they were all still on their toes, and ready to go. I'll guess we'll just have to wait for the rematch.

The better team came out and was firering away. I heard in the city game that jeremy had a great game and matt had a diving header to keep the ball out of the net. But Revenge sweet revenge just about always comes to the team that was ready and EA was ready.
