Well hopefully we all know what I will say. I have a deep admiration for Dutchtown, for the fact that they play good soccer and are a gritty and strong team that makes the most of all the skill they have. I also have a passionate hatred for McKinley b/c they don't play soccer at all. They have the best talent, but they don't show up and miss great chances and just suck it up on the field. Not to mention they are a whole bunch of lightweights. I don't know what the score is going to be but Dutchtown will kill them and this is something I’m sure of.

Jelly...I'm curious...You say you have deep admiration for Dutchtown.
Do you have any ties to the school directly or indirectly?
You don't have to reveal yourself or who you are. I'm just curious from where your admiration comes. You sound as though you've seen them play often? Have you?

Dutchtown's 1st game against Mckinley LAST YEAR was a 3-1 loss. Dutchtown scored on a PK and Mckinley scored all 3 of their goals on breakaways through Dutchtown's defense.

Mck was good? . it was like opposites. this year is different.

That's cool Jelly...
I was just curious...
Dutchtown did lose the first game last year 3-1. It was a very physical game. The young Dutchtown team that started 7 freshman were not prepared for the physical game and still hadn't settled on the arrangement of their lineup that they ended the year with. Once they got the lineup straight they ended the year with 7 victories in district and played to a 1-0 loss to the two time state champs in the playoffs. They do have some grittiness to them.
This year they start 8 sophomores, 2 seniors, and a junior and have 3 freshman that see time.

McKinley was good. They were solid all the way through but had injury problems at the end of the season.

man mck. where's Rebel when you need him. "it was a close game", or maybe you need to make a griffin right now. ahhhh 2-0 the ring of a sound whopping still in my ears. It's exactly how it should have played out. Mck still has to lose to EA and lose to Lee*who they barely upset*, hey and even lose to woodlawn once. it's gonna be fun to see Mck lose. hehe. but i am going to be sad to see Dutchtown, who i will assume to be distict champs, play either Vandy on Ben Franklin first round. that's gonna suck.
but hey. at least everything played out well today.

Good game Griffins. DTHS dominated most of the way in this game. The Griffins had McKinley on their heels most of the game. Next up Lee.

Jelly....
Were you able to see the game today? I was wondering your impression of how it was played. I think the McKinley keeper had a good game and that kept the score lower than it could have been.
Will you at least rule out yourself as being a Dutchtown player? Because I know through my son that the Dutchtown boys have strict rules for not talking trash on these posts.

I'm the keeper... just kidding... i don't have time to talk to you. just stop talking to me. I don't doubt that the keeper kept the score close. he's the only thing that saved them vs. lee. but I can guess that dutchtown smuthered Mck with there pressure.
