Captain Shreve 6 Evangel 0
Nick Saban was there and watched Jacob Hester play in the goal. 90% of the match was played in the Evangel defensive half and Saban got to see Hester make lots of saves.

McKinley 2, E. Ascension 1
Team Scoring -- EAST ASCENSION: Daniel Vallin 1; McKINLEY: Jim Hamatt 1, Ian Lusins 1.
Goalkeepers -- East Ascension: Jeremy Lanclos (4 saves); McKinley: Dylan Jenks (18 saves).
Team Records -- East Ascension 10-7, 1-4 in District 6-II; McKinley 12-3-2, 3-1.
from the paper. it's obvious again that Mckinley is a weak team that got lucky. yeah if i believed that there keeper would play well every game maybe i would have respect for them. HE MADE 18 save. good for him. BAD for the defense. I don't care who you beat i don't have respect for a team with a stat like that.

it's more of a thrash talking thing. of the teams in the Baton Rouge area there are two teams that have allways taked more trash than any other. Dutchtown and Mckinley. one, has backed it up and while being 4th in state i feel are still underrated. the other....doesn't. they sit there and make excuses for every lose. it just makes me mad. and now that the dutchtown team can't trash talk anymore(there parents still do) i'll do a little for them. and if mckinley ever wants to open there mouth on this board again they need to back it up with a non-upset win first.I still think lee is better than them.
