Wow, Caddo is number 10? That's interesting. I guess we'll see if they are deserving tonight. Looks like DIII is back to normal.

Caddo may get a chance to play Mandeville soon in the playoffs to see which one belongs in the top ten. Based upon their game in St Pauls tourney, I would pick Mandeville.

Someone in New Orleans just told me, Newman lost to St. Martin's in PKs. THis has to change Div. III

Does anybody know if that is true about St. Martins and Newman? But i am not sure if that will make st. martins the district champs because it is split and Newman might have the upper hand in goal differintial?

Newman wins DIII-6 with only one loss. St Martins lost to EDWhite the other day, so they have two losses.

i think cro and sulphur should be ranked higher, but i'm a little bias when it comes to dist. 3. i guess we'll have to prove it in the playoffs imeg4fun!

yeah, I am surprised that Sulphur didn't even get one vote for the top ten. Of course, looking at the top ten, I don't know who I would remove to make room for them...Caddo, maybe. But even then, I would have Carencro ahead of Sulphur.

The problem with ranking D1 is that there are 14-15 top 10 teams.....it's just a matter of most recent games vs. each other and tough opponents.

This poll is slightly out of date. Last night (the 3rd), Captain Shreve (7) lost to Caddo Magnet (10).
I would actually pick Magnet over Mandeville. I wasn't impressed by Mandeville in St. Pauls, and Caddo Magnet controlled a very large portion of the game.

Sulphur really has not done much lately to change their position in the pole. They were hot early and now have tailed off a bunch with very narrow victories over weak New Iberia teams and now with a 2-0 loss to Carencro. Top 10 NO, top 15 maybe.

i need to defened sulphur catchafishbish. first of all the game last night didn't mean anything. what was there to play for, i still don't know why the game was played to begin with. as far as a narrow win against new iberia, well the game was played on that postage stamp nish calls a field, and noboby scores well there. i beleave the score of the lafayette - nish game there was 1-0 lafayette. so don't knock sulphur for that narrow win. sulphur is a good solid team that i think,(if they play like they did against acadiana the decond time) will make some noise in the playoffs.

Caddo Magnet and Mandeville played at St Pauls to a tie. However, Mandeville had far more scoring opportunities in the game. I cannot see CM over Mandeville in the rankings.

Well, for one Admiral, it was early in the year and yes Mandeville did outplay Magnet, but Magnet had to have been tired after playing Vandebilt Catholic in a hard fought match which they tied 1-1... opposed to yall man-handling Hahnville and barely even breaking a sweat so I admit we were lucky to come out with a tie vs. Mandeville but you have to respect the fact we played the number 1 team in Division II and held them to a tie game and then having to play yall afterwards... but now that the season having progress and losing to Shreve 2-1 on PKs and beating them 1-0, I think Magnet has gotten to be a little bit better... but like it goes down, it's all the matter of the playoffs so let it be there... by the way, sorry yall got stuck with Jesuit... I still think ya'll can beat them honestly.
