from what ive been hearing, Dtown and Franklin will meet up in the first round of DII playoffs at Dtown... earlier this year franklin beat Dtown 2-0.... what are you predictions? who are the stars of each team? what are dtowns strengths, weaknesses? same for franklin?

ok hears the low down on franklin:
Goalie: one of the best, best bet is to keep it low. its impossible to beat him with deep shots. Keep corners and freekicks away from him.
Right back: too big and fast to just run past, best chance is to off-bablance him
Center Back: Wins most 50-50's & passes ball well but not as quick as the others
Left Back: Likes to get involved in attack, good in the air
2 Stoppers: Both are really tenacious and work their butts off, one tends to stay back and the other goes forward
Right Mid: Real fast black guy, likes to get into attack and is often their most dangerous form of offense, but not very good in the air
Center Mid: Heart and soul of the entire team, gets things going and controls the pace of the game. Good with ball at his feet and has great vision
Left Mid: Very creative and likes to try alot of fancy stuff, when it works it usually means danger
Forwards: One is really quick and likes to get as close to goal as possible, the other creates the oppurtunities for the rest of the team
Great team and tough to pick apart, very few can beat them just on talent. Ur best bet is to counterattack them when they're all going forward. Good Luck to both teams and i can't wait to watch the game!!

from watching a few of these two team's district games and styles of play, i think the winner of this game will win state. both of these teams seem to want it and have it in the back of their head that they're not stopping no matter what it takes. ben franklin showed they have mad skill when they tested vandy's nerves in the district match, and dtown showed they're capable of upsetting a team and putting it on against st. pauls. this will overall be a fun match to watch and can't wait to see it. my predicitions will be.......... dtown wins 2-1 in overtime

I agree that it will be a very exciting game to watch. From what I have seen of Dtown they are fairly well skilled but they play very hard. As far as the most skill Ben Franklin might be a little better as shown in Vandy game but I think dtown wins this one in a close game becuase they are playing at dtown.

They played earlier this season. It was a close game. D-town had some defensive communication problems which allowed two goals. The rematch should be close as well. D-town wins this one 2-1. Go Griffins!!!
