TEXT They are a very good team, loaded with speed on the stopper, sweeper, and goalie position. A very physical team. didn't win district but only lost to district champs in games being 1-0.

Leesville came in second to a poor DeRidder team, so saying u lost 1-0 to them isnt anything impressive. I expect ASH to roll through this one

First, let me qualify this opinion; my oldest son graduated from Sam Houston last year and played for them the three years we have lived in this area. I watched the three teams in this district for those three years and know the quality of soccer played in that district (the main reason my youngest son is a freshman @ St. Louis this year).
Deridder did have a stronger team last year and it showed in their playoff performance. They did very well in the weak D2. However I saw Deridder play a game in the sulphur tourney, and it did not appear to me that they had as good of a team this year. I also watched a Leesville at Sam Houston game this year and any average team would have cruised, they struggled against a very, very young and weak Bronco's team.
So.... all that being said I wanted to agree with soccer1288 " Leesville came in second to a poor DeRidder team, so saying u lost 1-0 to them isnt anything impressive. I expect ASH to roll through this one "

i played against DeRidder in the Sulphur Tournament and we won 5-1. Were a Division III school. They scored on us when all of r JV were in. and last year we played Leesville and if not for the sloppy conditions and narrow fields, we would have beaten them easily
ASH- 5 Leesville- 0

Its funny how you say that Leesville lost to very poor Deridder team and you also said that Leesville battle with sam houston at a game. BOTH ARE LIES. First of Deridder is a really good team. The are physical and they have a good offense and defense. I ;D when you say that Leesville had trouble with Sam Houston in any game. Leesville totally killed them just like Deridder did in everygame. If you are referring to the Leesville vs Sam Houston games, 2-0 Leesville, 3-0 Leesville, 5-1 Leesville, 5-2 Leesville's JV in most of the game. The last game against Sam Houston, Sam Houston scored early but was totally killed the whole game on both offense and defense, least to say that all the did the whole game was try to hurt the Leesville players with cheap shots! The Sam Houston team was real sloppy and it's a same most of the there team got yellow and red cards before the game was close to being over. Seems like you got a bitter taste in your mouth from Deridder and Leesville walking all over your Sam Houston Broncos.

However you make my point for me by giving out the scores. Sam Houston is very weak and you guys never really dominated them. Any average soccer team should have beat them soundly, somewhere in the neighborhood or 6 or 8 to zero. A strong team should be getting up to 10 (or more if your Northshore or Lafayette). I'm not bitter about DeRidder and Leesville beating SH. I could care less. I'm just putting my opinion out there like everyone else. And my opinion is that Leesville came in second in an extremely weak district. I'll tell you what, if Leesville stays within 3 goals of ASH, I'll start an "I eat Crow" Topic. P.S. My youngest son's school (St. Louis) won their first round match 8 - 0. If they were classeless, it could have been 17 - 0. I hope ASH has a touch of class or it could be double digits.
