Ok i'm assuming both these teams will get through to the quarterfinals. How do you expect the game between STM/ASH will be? Nobody's giving ASH a chance this year do you think they can shut down STM for a second time in the playoffs?

Did ASH shut STM down earlier this year?
If you are refering to the playoffs of previous years....I don't think that is smart. These are 2 completely different teams and ASH was much better back then. STM was as well, but the difference between those two is not the same as it used to be.
With that, I think it is possible for ASH to beat STM, I just don't think they will.

I think the ASH team is much better then the team last year. I'm never got to see the team that beat STM in the playoffs but i knew most of the guys on it. I don't know anything about STM really but I'm expecting to see a good game.

i've seen both teams play this year and if ash hasn't improve from when they played at the sulphur tourny they will lose to stm. ash has a big guy up front #2 that has decent skills but i don't think ash has the midfield or the back line to deal with stm. i think if they meet, stm 3-0.

we've improved since then. we were missing a midfielder in that game but we still should have been playing better against lafayette. i think if we show up we can give STM a run but it depends on how we play.

What can you expect from them players wise? Any big names? How about goal scorers? I don't know a thing about 'em.

Wait, ASH lost to the Lafayette JV at the Sulphur tournament? Of course, the Lafayette JV did make it to the semis of that tournament.
STM is pretty decent. They are not an elite team in my opinion, but they are solid. Dooley and Redd are probably their two biggest offensive threats. I think they are numbers 8 and 24 respectively...don't hold me to that, though. Their back line is pretty good. I would classify their keeper as suspect from what I have seen.

I didn't know that , goat. It was the keeper that played against Jesuit. I think he had curley black hair...not sure, though. Both of Jesuit's goals were of the weaker variety.

STM MUST HAVE THREE KEEPERS, BECAUSE THEY HAVE A BLONDE-HAIRED GUY AND ANOTHER WITH HARDLY NO HAIR AT ALL AND i GUESS THE ONE WITH CURLY, BLACK HAIR.

The keepers for STM are Brad Domingue, Jeff Ettiene, and Andy Holtz

Mcsruff STM is an elite team in Division II, even though they have like 6 losses due to good teams they have lost to such as Lafayette High, Vandy, and Sulfur. But the only way they will win it all is if they can put to great halfs together against a team like Vandy. Vandy is a great team and the reason why they beat STM 3 times this season is because they play so hard and they out work STM. To me the talent level is even between both teams, its jus t that STM will come out flat one half and dominate the other.
