In D3, any idea on the status of Mason Cook for Northlake Christian? I do not know anything about episcopal or St Louis. However, based on the NLC kids I have seen on the club circuit, I find it hard to believe there is a more talented team in D3.

District 5 has 5 teams receiving votes and 3 in the top 10. Pretty impressive. I'm assuming you're talking about Division I? And that is very impressive... But if you look at Division II, District 4 has 4 of 5 teams receiving votes with 3 of the 5 holding the top 3 spots. Hard to believe that only 2 of them are guaranteed automatic playoff spots

District 5 has 5 teams receiving votes and 3 in the top 10. Pretty impressive. hopefully one of these teams can break into the top tier this year I'd expect BR and Catholic to both be quality sides. BR is a very senior laden team. Catholic will continue to reload with club players. St. Amant should be strong, I just need to see how they replace a talent like Rantz Bourgeois. Not saying they don't have the talent to do that, but he was a special player. This should be a pretty competitive district top to bottom, as in past years. Expect EA, Dutchtown, McKinley, and Woodlawn to all put up a good fight regardless of their opponent.

And Country Day is still receiving votes over Haynes despite a 4-0 win last year.

And Country Day is still receiving votes over Haynes despite a 4-0 win last year. LOL! That was early last year and over the holiday when Country Day was missing key players. In the Final 2012-13 Coach's Poll, Country Day received 34 more votes than Haynes!! Did you go to sleep after that game and just wake up?

Yes Haynes won 4-0 and I guess it was a little early in season, Dec. 8 to be exact. But nope, not over the holidays and Country Day was at full strength, not missing any players. Haynes lost a starting mid in that game for the season, and lost the rest of their starting mid field for the year to more injuries suffered in the Newman game a week later, and in a game against St. Martin's early January. Haynes was a weaker team at the end of the season while a rebuilding Country Day continued to improve as season progressed. Besides, preseason polls aren't very important enough to get worked up about. Country Day is a quality school and program. Should be a good game again this year.

I know for a fact Country Day was not at full strength. Maybe it was a school trip, but they were missing multiple starters.

You may "know it for a fact," but CD fielded exactly the same lineup that played against, and beat, St. Martins a 4-2 week later. Excuse were not made after the game which was extraordinarily intensely played, and it doesn't matter. But just for the record, what you say isn't true. I dare say both CD coaches on the field at the time would confirm it.
However, at COPA a week earlier, CD was indeed quite shorthanded... Question: Why is this so important?
