I would like to say that I have been a Loyola doubter all season....yes, you have a great tradition (despite all the S. LA trash talk), yes, you have a good coach, and yes, you are loaded with talent, but as a soccer fan, it has been disappointing that you didn't come together earlier as a team. However, maybe the 2nd half of Saturday's game was a turning point. I was not at the game, but after reading the paper and seeing that a boxing match took place, you should be commended on your class by not getting involved enough in the brawl to get any players ejected and by pulling your hearts out, down 1-0, coming back 3-1 amidst the leg breaking session by Terrebone......kudos, and good luck the rest of the way...I hope you prove all of our predictions wrong and find your way into the finals....

in that S. Terrebone game i saw that 4 reds for S. Terrebonne were given... 1 Yellow for Loyola was given, now if my understanding is right, didn't S. Terrebonne have to play men down, was just wondering

seams as if they played with only 7 players to there 11.. i think that SHOULD be domination.. but it was only a 2 score difference.. was S.T. that good?

I did not see the game nor have I ever saw Loyola play. You're commending them on class and maybe there are some class players on the team.
I know last night a couple of people posted some awful things about S. Terrebone that were just "trash-talking" and prejudicial comments that were uncalled for. Luckily, I think they were removed.
These Loyola fans or players whomever they were lacked the class you speak so highly of now.

yea we do have class but if you were at the game you would know what happened they got 2 red cards after the fight and then we scored a goal then our foward had a breakway takled from behind and then that guy was givein a red card we scoard off the free kick to make it 3-1 then again not a couple min. afterward another red card was givein and then the game ended so get your facts straight before saying loyola only beat ST 3-1 w/ a 7-11 advantage

if you are talking about what i put!?!?! I was just asking, had no clue what happened... Then you'll still beat them 11-9 though... Any decent team should be able to score like that, but my opinion

Wow! Loyola is commended on class?? What kind of trash is this?? I am not going to reveal who I am, but I can say one thing! Racial slurs should not be taken by anyone. Racial slurs were the cause of the fight. Loyola should be removed from the playoffs! I am not commeding the players who fought in that game, but I am glad they stood up for what they believed in. As far as the redcards that were issued, there should have been some againts Loyola as well. How can it be that Only S.T. players got redcards? Well let me make my point clear anyone who throws a punch should be ejected! It is a shame that the refs took the side of the wrong team. Loyola, I sure hope you bring your security gaurds, refs, your "classy players", and racist slurs to your next game! If you don't, you will not go any farther in the playoffs, because from what I saw Sat. night, you guys are worthless! Trust me this is not trash talk. This is the straight truth, coming from a reliable resource! And God Be With You.

If every player that throws a punch should be ejected the game should have been over right after the fight because the whole S. Terrebonne team went on to the field and even there coach came on and punched a loyola player!

I dont think we are getting the whole story here... Truth is we will never know exactly what happened on that field. EVERY player has a tendenacy 2 make the story a little more to benefit himself/team. The only people who MIGHT be able to tell us in all honesty would be the refs

HOnestly, as a player who has played against Loyola, I don't get the impression that they would have done anything to start this fight. During games, I've talked to them about "wow it's cold", "Geez, these refs suck", etc, at least I've talked to their forwards. Anyways, no experience I've ever had with them has ever given me the idea they would do anything to start such a commotion as this. Just my two cents.....

I agree. To contradict myself, Loyola has shown that they do have some heart. Sticking together (don't tell me anything baout a fight) shows that. Loyola, oyu have proven me wrong.
