I think that there are more teams that you have listed with a very legitimate shot at the crown.
I think St. Paul's and Acadiana have just as good of a shot as the four teams you have mentioned. I also think that Sulphur and Catholic are right behind those top 6.

Um, yeah, sorry goat. What I meant to say is Lafayette will win state, but there are 7 other teams with a VERY legitimate shot at second.

i don't know about airline...they couldn't even beat CS or CM. Even Byrd was a challenge. Yes every team has a shot but let not get drastic here. Finals LHS v. CL winner is TBD.

I think St. Pauls and Acadiana should be added to the list. I don't think either of them will win but they both have the talent and have as good a shot as anyone. In my book Jesuit is the team to beat. I think Lafayette will win out and meet them in the final. Much to my chagrine I think District 1 is out after two rounds. Sulphur should win easily and as much as I would like to see it, Magnet more than likely doesn't have the guns to be CL. I will be at both matches and will post the game reports when I get home each night. I hope the Sulphur team thanks the Airline coach for playing this match at Indy. Their home field is Tinsley Park in Bossier which is a big mudpit right now. Good Luck to all teams still playing.

I think the only thing this poll proves is that anyone can take Div. I this year.

The forecast is for off and on rain from now thru Wednesday night. Unless it pours during the match, the only way the rain will affect the match is the ball may skid on the turf. The goalies will need to play as if they were playing early in the morning on dew covered grass.
