Is there an unsung team that came through with flying colors? If they made it to playoffs or not doesnt matter. I for one think shs has done extremly well. is there anyother team?

Well, you play for SHS, so of course you are going to think that.
I mean, I agree with you and all, but let others give you props, not yourself. At least that's respectable.

i think the biggest suprise to most people is sulphur, (in div.1 anyway). i don't think many dist.3 fans are all that suprised by it though. i also think st.pauls is showing better than most people though. i had them lossing to BM in the first round, now i'm picking them to upset rummel.

I didn't get what you were trying to ask me. Yeah I was going to say you either play for them or are a big fan. Regardless, your opinion is biased.

The only team in the final 8 that is a surprise to anyone is Sulphur. I had hoped it would be Shreve but it wasnt to be. The loss to Sulphur, however wasn't a huge upset. They are a good team and deserve to be there. Someone had said in an earlier post that the 3rd place team in District 3 would win District 1. I have a hard time disputing that fact. The 3 and 4 teams down there are usually just as good as Shreve and Magnet. I think both Shreve and Magnet are a notch below Lafayette and Acadiana. Until they beat one of them, they should and will stay there. Last year Shreve beat Carencro who was either the 3 or 4 team out of District 3. This year we didn't beat Sulphur when it counted. We did beat them however and that cannot be dismissed. Sulphur has proven it belongs in the final 8. Lafayette has beaten Sulpur 3 times this year, none of those will mean a thing if Sulphur beats them on Monday. It should be a great match, wish I could be there to watch. The only team I am not sure about yet is Northshore. They have had two very easy matches and my guess is they go down against Acadiana. You could call them unsung, but I think any of the top 15 teams would have defeated the two opponents they played. Good Luck to everyone next week.

I think it's Vandy, because no one thought that they would be this good losing 10 starting seniors. Just to think this is Vandy's rebuilding year.

I think Opelousas did a good job this year. Their first time ever in the playoffs. have a couple of good players. only district games lost were to stm.
