who do you think should be D2 MVP?
i personally think either
Joshua fogarty- keeper for franklin who was a HUGE factor in their win, and also one of the top scorers when he played forward...
Fabian Nehrbass- center mid for franklin, "the heart and soul" of the team, he created almost everything and was one of the top scorers

well it has to be someone on franklin (figuring that they're state champs). so can someone name who they think are the top 5 players on this team? then we can decide between them. Give details and stats on why you think so

fabian nehrbass- center mid joshua fogarty- keeper
its going to be one of those two people.... after that i mean there are excellent players, but these two really were MVP's of franklin's team... fabian is a captain as well, josh is not....

I really believe Ben Franklin's keeper deserves it after that state playoff game!

melonhead, there is no way vandebilt's keeper will get MVP of DII. he isnt that good. i would be suprised to see him on all-state much less MVP.

the thing about the top 5 on franklins team is that after fabian and josh, its really a team effort... one player who would deff be considered was injured for about 5 games, peter haines the other forward(senior), peter has a twin brother yurik as well who played left half, then after that junior captain karsten becnel who played stopper, junior captain amrit naresh who played left defender these two each missed games because of injury as well...casey contrary began the season playing a stopper then was moved up to forward hes a junior, him and a sophomore, clinton smith, originally a forward then moved to right half, who was one of the top goal scorers.. its REALLY difficult to name a top 5 beacuse after the main two, it REALLY was a TEAM effort which is the main difference between this years team and last years team...MVP of that game is josh the keeper, but of the whole season id say fabian.....

There are two or three key players on several DII teams which should be considered. I wasn't aware that the champ automatically gets the season mvp. While they may have an advantage, other factors are hopefully considered (ie. goals scored, assists, playmaking ability, clutch performances, team success over the long haul).
DI is having a very good forum on this same scenario. Let's here from all over and the reasons why.
