If I read the bracket correctly this match should be in Shreveport at Messemer Field.
Forecast: Thursday - 52 and sunny Friday - 63 with an 80% chance of rain
Field is turf so rain should not be a problem.

I expect another dominant performance by the Lady Flyers. They're going to be hard to beat!

Everything points to Loyola being a clear favorite. Beat Lakeshore 3-0 this year, better results against the same opponents, and playing at home in this match.
Lakeshore just proved in the quarters they have the grit to grind out a result. Holding your nerve through a tie game and winning a PK shootout AT Vandebilt is no easy task. Congrats to the Titans for that accomplishment!
But in the end, Loyola has consistently gotten it done this year whenever they've played a quality opponent. Like I said before their quarterfinal, they seem strong and determined and I think they'll have a little too much for Lakeshore in this one. 3-1 for the #1 seed.

I'll just say one thing concerning this match. This is not the Lakeshore team that Loyola beat 3-0 at their tournament in November.

This one goes to Loyola. The common opponent chart is very revealing. Looks like Loyola went out of its way to get a great schedule to prepare, beating or tying several different D-1 teams from the deep Northshore district. Loyola will sail through here. I'll just say one thing concerning this match. This is not the Lakeshore team that Loyola beat 3-0 at their tournament in November.

I would venture to say that this isn't the same Loyola team that beat Lakeshore in November either. You don't seem to acknowledge that both teams have grown and improved as the year as gone on. This game goes to Loyola, I would say 2-0 or maybe 3-1

Rain is probable on Friday, but there should be a window of a few hours around game time when rain chances lessen greatly.

Lakeshore will be there on Friday and may the best team win.

Looks like high 50's with a 70% chance of showers for this game Friday. Good thing its turf. Does that change the predictions? My guess is the quarterfinal game Loyola played on a wet turf will push the edge to them even more

Spot on Patriot Fan. Lakeshore plays as well as anybody in adverse field conditions be it turf, grass, or mud. No advantage here likely for either team, but such conditions will not deter the Lakeshore team. Lakeshore girls team is the first truly amphibious soccer team.

I guess we ought to bring our deck shoes because it was previously mentioned that Loyola was sailing through this game.?

I've seen both teams play this year, and this should be a great game.

Expect a great match with a berth in the state final awaiting the winner. Can't wait to see it. Good luck to both teams!
