I think that district three in division one will end the same way it did this year.

what do u think about como makin the playoffs? they didnt do much this year but looked ok at times. they dont lose a single starter. i think they may take a spot. i also dont think barbe will do nearly as good as they did this year. teakle was their team and now that hes gone i dont think they will have much left. just a thought tho.

clearly the favored will be lafayette. they are losing 4 starters but have the deepest bench in the dist. and maybe even the state. the rams will be solid and should give lafayette a run for their money,(they always do), after that i'm not sure. i think sulphur, westgate, como, and cro will all be there with cro leading the pack. one thing is for sure dist. 3 will still be one of if not the toughest dist. in Div. I. good luck to all the teams. (I'LL STILL BE WATCHING)

I don't think Acadiana will pose much of a threat to Lafayette's repeat hopes.

it won't be a threat just a fact! lafayette has always been the best team on paper but the rams have a way of beating them anyway. i am not going to argue this right now but i will see you at the field next year and we will see then. your not going to get my goat on this one mcsruff just look at history! and history has a way of repeating itself. enjoy the top now (while you still can) LOL.

goat, you are too easy!
I think that Acadiana will be good next year, too. On offense, they lose some very good players, but also return some very good players. Same thing for the defense. I don't know what kind of talen....sorry, skill they have waiting in the wings, but I think they just have some holes to plug.
I think Lafayette has some crucial holes to plug, also. Right down the middle, center mid, stopper, and keeper. I heard that Ryan Dhuet is a very good keeper, but Pierce and McNamara will be hard to replace. I am curious to see who will step up.

i think sulphurs defense will still be good, the keeper will be a junior and then aaron williams will be a junior, they both started varsity. stepping up will be justin bailey at sweeper who plays really well at times ( needs a lil more experience in my opinion) and daniel castro who also can play really well. they will have a decent offense. maybe just as good as we were this year.

mcsruff the depth of lafayette will fill the holes left by the seniors pretty easy, with the exception of mcnamara. i know you are a big fan of his but i really think he is the guy that will be the toughest to replace. i think lafayette has players with soccer skills to replace him but i'm talking about his field presence, his knowledge of the game, his leadership and his heart. not every kid has what he had in those areas. it is not something you can coach ethier.
i know you keep up with him and some of the other players so let us know what he may be doing in the future, that is if you get the chance to.
