Does anyone know if LSA changed the format of the LSA Open Cup. It looks like they are using a relegation system to seed the teams. In U15 boys, they moved a C4 team to the C3 Gold Level and moved two C3 teams down to the Blue Level. Looks like the same for U14. They moved two C-3 teams to the Blue Division and placed 2 rec teams from the same club in the Gold Division. Same for other age groups and the girls side. Was this based on their first-come first-entered method? Their rules state the Gold Division is for C3 teams. Blue is for C4, C5 and rec (if the rec teams chooses to play up) and Red Division is strictly Rec. Also, it looks like there are all 4 team Divisions. It seems like a pretty lazy way to set up the bracket as I heard some teams did not get in the tournament because of the first come first placed in only groups of 4. If someone knows the answer please help shed some light.
