BIG QUESTION FOR USYSA and LSA regarding the Lafrenere Soccer Club and their imported players. Even if Lafrenere has a club policy to waive fees, who paid for the housing, clothing and feeding of these players?
Can you say " Opps..... there goes my amateur status?" Nice move NOSA....... opppsss Lafrenere. What the heck they are now basically the same. Boycott em both!

Check out LSA Bylaw 312 G Citizenship. Seems our state leadership has a bylaw that allows this kind of stuff to occur on the state level, but it seems it won't fly on the national level. Nice move LSA.

USYSA Rule 224 Player Eligibility: Section 1 A player must be properly registered and rostered in accordance with the rules of US Youth Soccer AND the State Association. NOTE, it says "AND", so therefore, did LSA mess up too? And given the state tournament has been completed, who wins? Rage already has beaten Mandy in this tournament, won their side of the bracket, and semi final game. Hmmmmmmmm something to ponder eh?

Nice move LSA. By-Laws are voted into the state constitution by the total membership at the Annual General Meeting. During these votes the Board of Directors TEXT have a vote. In other words, the board just inforces what the masses have inacted as by-laws. So look to your individual associations for blame not the LSA Board. !!!!

Nice move LSA. If you check the title of Bylaw 312 Section G you will see that it says "State Youth Select Team Program" As you read further down this program is designated ODP--Olympic Development Program. This whole section deals with ODP not club select teams !!!!

How many members were allow to vote on the code of ethics for coaches? NONE!!!! So drop your sactimonious attitude, LSA dropped the ball by not being in step with national.

Obviously, by now, we know LSA is not going to change the outcome of the game, nor will they change the rules. The two girls that played were on the roster, that makes all this chatter about breaking the laws useless. Once a player is on the team roster for at least 2-3 weeks, they can play Snickers Cup and leave. It's over, done with, and nothing will be changed. If you want LSA to change a rule, I urge you to write them an email or letter, or visit their office. No one is to blame for this, by the "rules" it was completely legal.
