Well it’s time for EA to buckle their chin strap. They’ve played very well to start the season but this is a heck of a step up in competition.

Been a couple scores made me think where you been hiding lately. 8 or 9-4 was the closest

I know the game isn’t over but having seen St.Pauls be so good for so long it shocks me every time they aren’t blowing anyone out.
Yes, They’ve been that good.

5:00 to play 1st half St. Paul pressing for the go ahead goal. 2-1 St Paul 4 minutes left 1st half. halftime. 2-1 St. Paul. St. Paul playing possession and holding it for 75% of the half. EA line trapping and playing everything long hoping for a counter that might not be coming since Top Speed will be required. St. Paul seems to funnel the majority of their play through #10 the center mid with two man play between he and #17. Final score could get a bit ugly if EA continues to give away possession so easily. I don’t think they have enough pieces to hold onto the ball nor enough physical gifts to overcome their lack of skill.

EA #4 hits a wicked shot from distance deflects by keeper second shot beat keeper but defender backing him up with the save.

I left Frozen and it was 3-1 with less than 5 minutes to play. EA was outclassed at every facet of the game and didn’t have any individual players that could consistently challenge St. Paul on the ball as Dutchtown did with Zane. If I were to try and find a weakness with St. Paul I would like to see their outside backs challenged by a team with lots of speed up top on both sides. Crosses will need to be between the 6 and 12 on the ground or on a line because their Goalie is 6’4” and moves well. Going through the middle is a no go as long as #10 stays healthy along with their other pieces inside the middle. I didn’t see them play Lafayette earlier this season but I think they might be able to find a result later in the year vs St. Paul. Just my take.

Got to give EA goalie some credit, this game could ha e been way worse than what it was.
