A tournament update:
As of now, the tournament is still a go!
CYSA is going to determine if the fields are playable by tomorrow (Friday) between 3pm and 4pm.
In short, as soon as I know, you will know.
Lets hope for minimal rain for the remainder of today and tons of sunshine tomorrow.

Unfortunately the sunshine wasn't enough to overcome the rains. As a result the tournament will not take place tomorrow. CYSA has informed me that their fields are available for next Saturday. At this time we are waiting to see if there are enough officials to cover. If there are, then we plan on playing it. Soooooo...
Check with your JV coaches and squads to see if they are available. If they are, and if you are still interested in attending, please let me know by Tuesday morning (that gives you time to scope out things on Monday). I will send out an updated schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
At any rate, enjoy the beautiful weekend we have coming up with family and friends.
Happy New Year to you all,
Coach Inman

The forecast does call for some rain Ray, but hopefully what I saw this morning comes to fruition: light rain with the majority of it coming through after 6pm. As for the tournament schedule in the Blue Division...it was obviously a brainfart on my part. It has been corrected and updated. Thanks for the feedback in the PM. As always - good luck and good health. Coach Inman

Congratulations to the St. Paul Wolves as they pulled off the double winning both divisions of an abridged Covington Cup. In the Gold Division final, St. Paul showed their class by bettering an excellent Mandeville Skipper squad in the match of the day. In the Blue Division final, the Wolves defeated a game Hannan squad. In spite of deteriorating conditions, the youngsters stayed the course illustrating their mental toughness (none moreso than Brother Martin...who was competitive despite being shorthanded). Congrats to the coaches using the conditions as an opportunity to ignore the elements and environment, a trait that may come in handy down the road as they navigate playoff soccer and some of the conditions that exist. As always, good luck and good health to all. Coach Inman
