A- Byrd should win easily
B- Airline should win but Ruston could pull an upset
C- Caddo Magnet most likely but you never know what could happen
D- Neville (by far the easiest bracket)
Semis: Byrd vs. Magnet-- Magnet 4-1
Airline vs. Neville-- Airline 3-0
Finals: Magnet vs. Airline-- Magnet 2-0 or 2-1

Yeah, which could mean that you could have three 3-0 teams and three 0-3 teams, that's just the way it is. Ruston does scare me a little bit, and Bolton is a mystery. We have to play Bolton is their first game of the tournament, which means everyone else will get a look at them while we play. On the plus side, we don't have to play Byrd until Saturday morning. I expect Byrd and Airline to make it through, but we have trouble finishing, so I would be surprised if Ruston snuck in ahead of us on goal differential. Of course, all this is spectulation on a tournament that may or may not get played...

Im thinking... Magnet mercy rules 7-0 on all 3 teams in bracket (hopefully)... gets Byrd in the semis, wins 2,3-0, and gets Airline in the finals and wins 1,2-0. Shutout tourney for Caddo.. Magnet wins.

there is no way that magnet will beat anyone in our bracket 7-0...this is by far the most competitive bracket and i think anyone could win this bracket...it's most likely going to be magnet but anyone could upset them...i have heard that all the other teams in our bracket are pretty good but maybe not ocs..haven't really heard anything on them...but everyone else is average if not better...i'm not trying to say parkway is going to beat everyone that we play because we won't...i really don't know how good we are because we really haven't played anyone good besided airline in our first game of the season which was a 3-2 loss...it should be interesting the way the bracket turns out

Barcelona, be realistic man... maybe not a 7-0 mercy on all games but should be atleast 3-0 every game in bracket... Magnet beat yall 2-0 in a 20 minute jamboree game.

yea but we also weren't playing 3 of our starters, our goalie was one of them and everyone was just messing around...but when you think about it yall should beat everyone by 2-0 or 3-1...probably no more than that...

The A-B bracket is hard to predict at this point. Bolton is the unknown factor. They have played some teams well and have looked bad on some other scorelines from what I have seen so far. Byrd, Ruston and Airline probably have the best chance to advance. I would go even further and say that Ruston and Airline probably have easier draws in that they each get to play Northwood and Bolton, while Byrd has to play two tougher games against Ruston and Airline. Byrd has the most depth of any of those three teams, and if they use it properly can advance out of bracket if they can get a win against Airline or Ruston. 21 points will probably get you out of bracket here, so all three teams will know what they need to do Saturday to advance, with Ruston having the easier task there in playing Northwood that day. The winner, lucky them, will get Magnet, who will win their bracket, but not easily. Parkway and West Monroe, with their football players back, will give them a fight and then Magnet will have to play a very good team in Airline, Ruston, or Byrd in the semifinals. The second place team will get most likely get Neville, but don't be too surprised is Bossier somehow makes it out. That is the weakest bracket by far, so anything can happen there. Whoever it is will most likely just be a stepping stone to the final game against most likely a tired Magnet team. But, take heart Magnet, they took this road last year in the Bossier Tournament, having to play Loyola in the semifinals and then playing Shreve in the finals. While Magnet is good, their backline is going to be tired from chasing quick forwards (West Monroe, Byrd, Ruston, Airline, Parkway) all tournament and they may get more of a challenge then they bargained for from a team that probably got to rest some players in the semifinal match. I won't pick a winner for this one, but I know everyone is gonna be gunning for the top dog at this tournament. That is the price Magnet pays for being good.

it would've been better if the people that scheduled the games would've scheduled parkway and magnet for the last day instead of the first...that's just my opinion...magnet is supposed to win this bracket but no one knows how everyone else is going to play

Great analysis AirlineCoach. The key for Byrd will be the Ruston game on Thursday. The big mystery right now is Bolton. They could completely change everything. It should be fun.

Looks like the tournament should be good...but be glad Shreve is going down south for the weekend. If they stayed it may have put a crimp in the Magnet "route" in the tourney. If Magnet is such a dominating team...why dont they play any big tournaments?? I would think the Showcase would be a great place for them to "walk the walk" after they have talked the talk. Have a great tournament.

Well, in another week they are playing in the St. Pauls Tournament in Covington. They are scheduled to play Mandeville, Vandebilt Catholic, and Newman. With two of the three being ranked number one in their respective divisions, I kind of do think this is a big tournament for them to be playing in.

Magnet wins. nice try...but wrong...took every team too lightly...lol..magnet tied west monroe 1-1..only saw the last 5 minutes...magnet could've put it away with a throw in by scott mitchell and the ball was rolling around in the six yard box for a good 5 seconds and no one even got a foot on it... another score was parkway beat ouachita christian 3-1...ocs scored first with a pk...then parkway came back and scored a pk...then parkway had a very nice shot upper 90 with about 10 minutes to go in the first half...then parkway missed a pk in the second half but then came back within 10 minutes and got a nice header...parkway controlled the game the whole game pretty much

Semifinals: Caddo Magnet 1 Airline 0 Goal was scored 2 minutes in the golden goal overtime period.
Neville over Byrd in PKs I know. Didn't think Neville had it in them really, Byrd should have been able to cake walk through to the finals.
When I left the fields I think Magnet was already up like 2-0 early in the finals.
