here is what i think, if we are talking indivduals
credeur is the best defender in the district and maybe the state he plays for acadiana
gardner is the best keeper, he plays for barb
as far as team defenses go i think , but i am not cpmpletly sure that acadiana has given up the fewest goals so far this year so i would put them 1st.

well even with the loss, of our "flyin hawaiin" Vorasane, and our big black guy, Tim....i think Wesgate has a good defense, i wouldnt say the best, b/c then i would be being extremely bias, but what else do you expect...

beeturman. Has your coach ever though of playing with 3 in the back or with a stopper sweeper defense? You guys could benifit from someone staying home in the middle. Vergenal and I think its you playing center mid roam around quite a bit. But hey what works works I guess. Your defense did look pretty good. They gave up only a few quality shots against sulphur but they don't look as if they can start an attack verywell. #25 plays great back their. Gotta like a little guy that wins balls that way. And the hawaian guy was a frikin animal last year. If he stays one more year you guys would have had one hell of a d. Good luck with yall season. Hope to see yall play again this season. Perhaps in the showcase.

I think the easy choice is Acadiana as far as the best defense in the district right now. Credeur is one of the best in the state and he keeps everything together. I think Lafayette would have been fine if Judice hadn't torn up his knee before the season. He brought the leadership that Credeur brings to Acadiana.
I will disagree with goat on one thing, as usual. Gardner has allowed 27 goals scored in 7 games. I know this is not directly contributed to him and his team is also responsible, but right now I would say Comeaux's keeper is better.

I'm sure Gardner gets about 50 shots per game, while Boatner will get 10 against a quality team. Also, Gardner is a solid keeper. He has good Technique. Boatner, although he has very good reflexes, does not have half the technique as Gardner. Boatner's positioning is atrocious, but he can make up for it with his speed.
