So far this season who has been more effective for there team. Who do you think has stepped up and led there team . Who do defenders dread more Broussard or Belfour?

This is a touph question. I think that as far as being effective, broussard is ahead of belfour this year. As far as leading their team, i think belfour takes this catagory because of his senior leadership. And when it comes to dreading someone, i would have to say belfour takes this one by a mile. Part of the reason broussard is so affective is because people take him lightly. Belfour is fast, strong, and not affraid to play dirty. Hes a bit more intemidateing then broussard. Over all tho, i think i take Broussard over the two just because i play with him already and i like the underdog.

Broussard is far more effective this year because like Soccerstud said teams underestimate his scoring ability

belfour everytime. he is much more versital. i have seen joey play every position but goalie and he is very good at every position. i think leblanc is the only kid in this district that can compare to joey. if i had to pick between those two i would have to pick the ram (leblanc)

Now that you mention it Goat, Joey played goalie vs. sulphur when I got a yellow card. My stupid mistake for the yellow.

Actually Belfour did play goalie tuesday! Daniel Johnson the keeper picked up the ball that was dropped back by an LHS defender snd got a yellow card for kicking the ball away and we didnt have any other keeper. They indirect kick was about at the PK and id have to say it was pretty funny

was their a shot on goal off of the kick? Belfours stats would then read something like
Goals Assists Games Played Saves 30 25 25 1
That would be helarious

No Belfour got scored on.... they left the far post wide open (the wall on the base line) and he dove near post.

He averages 1 goal per game. Not a bad start.

In that case i take Micheal Leblanc. Joey is fast but i think mike is the best player in the state this year. He is definately the most dominating player that I've seen.

Yeah i agree with soccerstud. Joey's good but mike has the ablility to just take over the game. Mike can dominate a game all buy himself. Joey needs a supporting cast. Mike doesn't.

LeBlanc does need a supporting cast. He is in my opinion the best player in the state right now, but let's not embelish his talent. He does need a supporting cast. Put him on Barbe and Barbe would have more wins, but Acadiana, Lafayette, Cro, Como would all still be ahead. Same with Joey. The credit to both these guys is that they play on teams that have an abundance of talent and they both still stand out as better players on the field. That is the real compliment. It's easy to be a superstar on a weak team, it's much more difficult to be a superstar on a great team.

It's easy to be a superstar on a weak team, it's much more difficult to be a superstar on a great team. I'd have to disagree with you on that point. How many superstars in the past couple of years have been on bad teams. I think it may be harder to be the best player on your team if your team is full of talent, which may be the point you were trying to make, but if your team is no good it takes away from your ability.

that was the point. If you are a good player, you get more recognized if you play for a weak team versus playing for a good team.
