St Martins with 2 less wins will have a domino effect on PR. Would, love to see what it looks like as that will change quite a few seeds currently.

Man, that six team St Paul’s bracket is killer. Literally every team in there is ranked lower than they should be, and yes, that includes St Paul. As good as they are this year they should make a special ranking for them higher than one.

I dont see any games before 11/18 on your schedule according to LHSAA so they shouldn't be counted. Thomas Jefferson 11/13 St Aug 11/15 Both before 11/18 date of first official game date

If that McKinley team was good enough to be say 10 or 11, then automatically bumped to 24, doesn't seem right they play a 9 seed since they are better than a 24 seed.

When can we expect the schedules on LHSAA to be cleaned up? There are several out there with games from December with no result or anything. Did they get played or canceled?

I've had 2 games cancelled this year. I made the changes online immediately at the games were removed in less than 24hrs. So coaches need to go to LHSAAonline and update their schedules if those games aren't going to be played. Much easier for the coaches to start the process than wait for an admin to reach out and go through the same thing.

Heres another interesting tidbit--Right now Central Private occupies the #23 spot in D IV. CP is ineligible for post season play due to their being a first year program in the LHSAA (They played in the MPSA prior to now). This makes the bottom of D IV wide open for the #25 through #27 to get in. Ascension Christian should be good to make it as they will accumulate enough residual points between Monday and Tuesday to hold the # 24 regardless. Now, Houma Christian, Notre Dame and St Martins each have something to play for. Houma Christian has West Feliciana on Monday, while St Martins has Lusher Charter. HC' season could be on the line and they need a win in a virtual playoff game. St Martins would have to beat a very good Lusher team that is fighting for the #1 seed in D III--Lusher has something to play for. Should be interesting

Still fighting for the higher seed. A lusher loss could drop them to 4

As far as Lusher - St. Martin’s goes, I think St. Martin’s could still get in even with a loss, since they get half of Lusher’s wins, which is above their average already. I

If Houma Christian beats West Fel, then their and Ascension Christians residual points will keep them both above STM. not by much. STM needs to make up like 8 points above their current PR to get in. Only way they do that is beat Lusher

St Martins with 2 less wins will have a domino effect on PR. Would, love to see what it looks like as that will change quite a few seeds currently. To some extent yes, but it also reduces St Martins PR down by .12 to 6.54. Effect in D IV that involves currently playoff bound teams will be Ascension Christian, who will lose 1 point, and Country Day, Ascension Episcopal, and Northlake who will each lose 2 In Ascension Christians case, it would change our current PR from 7.38 to 7.32 due to AC losing to STM. Ac would still stay in #24 (23 without Central Private) The actually increases the gap between AC and STM by .06, and as STM is trying to catch AC, it hurts STMs chances As for the other three teams in D IV, they all beat STM, so they would each lose 2 points. By my math, that would change Country Day from a 10.33 to 10.20, and they would stay at #9 (currently) The change for Northlake and Ascension Episcopal look to be a tad more dramatic. Northlake would drop from 9.46 to 9.348, while Ascension Episcopal would drop from 9.45 to 9.366 This means Ascension Episcopal and Northlake Christian would swap #13 and #14 spots (AE goes to #13, and NC to #14). Both teams are far enough behind St Thomas Aquinas that catching them would be difficult, and far enough ahead of Dunham that they wouldn't drop any lower. Helen Cox stands to lose the most out of anyone, having beaten STM 2x--means they will lose 4 points. But the drop will be from a 12.36 to 12.074. That's a big PR drop, but it only drops them one place as they would go below Ben Franklin from 5 to 6. Beau Chene was almost .5 ahead of Helen Cox, so Cox wasn't catching them. But, the next team behind Cox now? Bonnabel, who also loses 2 points. They would drop from 11.82 to 11.72, staying in 7th spot but now only .04 ahead of East Jefferson, but still .2 ahead of Ouachita Parish in 9th. Next up for EJ is a seriously depleted St Amant squad that looks a bit vulnerable. An EJ win there will push them above Bonnabel (which it would have probably anyway) but Bonnabel still has two games left with Hannan and International of New Orleans. Neither team will catch Ben Franklin, but a Bonnabel loss to either of its last two opponents, combined with the loss of .10 could mean a drop from the top 8 into the next 16. Bonnabel gets a little ding, but can handle up on it business and probably stay safe where they are, maybe even catching Cox, especially when Cox has games left with a solid if unspectacular John Ehret team, and then a huge season ending matchup with NOMMA, who is fighting to get into the top 8 In the end, the team hurt the most is probably St Martins as its going to mandate that they beat Lusher to get into the playoffs, and that's some tough sledding for any team

Updated the brackets with St. Martin's losing 2 wins. Only changed a couple of spots. Also, remove Central Private from tournament bracket in DIV.

Hoping Acadiana and Cath NI report their wins vs OC from the weekend... that’s .04 for us and I’m sure points for a few more...
