honestly, Jesuit is the best team in the state, so they get my vote, but there are a few teams that I think could beat them.

My vote goes to Jesuit. No other team has scored more than 1 on Shreve, take away a couple of funky bounces and the score could have been 1-0 in that match. Of course, without a couple of good Wimer saves it could have been worse as well. Talk about depth, they seem 20 deep in good players. Great team!

Jesuit got that because no other team has came close to them tis year except comeaux and that was in a tourney and comeaux isnt consistent enough to win it

I watched Jesuit play against laffy in the semi final and they looked very impressive. I dont even see them losing a game the whole entire season.

st pauls tied jesuit 2-2 im preseason. im sure if a few chances went their way they might have been able to win and im sure its also true for jesuits chances. it was a very good game.

good point boom, but also teams tend to go into a the mode, it's only a JV team how can they beat us.... And Lafayette's JV on the other hand had nothing to lose in that game so they were going all out from the start...
I am not trying to make excuses for capt shreve... I do think they are inconsist, and in my last poll they dropped i think 4 spots... to # 7 or 8 somewhere in there... Im just trying to give an alternative
I think Jesuit will take it all
The amazing thing is... Acadiana is ranked 2nd, yet nobody picked them to win state

On the northshore, St Paul did tie Jesuit 2-2 with their backup keeper. Both St Paul and Mandeville have 10 -12 seniors and would have a chance.

What about Division II? Anybody gonna challenge Vandy?

I don't see anybody defeating Vandy in the playoffs... Ben Franklin, and Dutchtown might...
The way to beat Vandy is to keep the game close and try and win it at the end of the game... I think if the game goes into a PK shootout it shifts to their oppenants team favor... They have the memory of losing the finals of sacred heart tournament in PKs... And also last years championships match... I believe this might cross there mine if it comes to that......

They have good players and very well coached but the thing that is in there favor is there freakin stamina they can wear you do and by the end of the 80 mins if you are not close they will win the game. They hustle for just about the whole entire game since d-town played Ben Franklin and already won (NO BIG HEADS HERE) i think d-town could possibly tie are even beat vandy.

Im just trying to give an alternative yeah that would be a good point but they were talking smack the whole game they thought we were the varsity team they would make references to us thinking we are big shots cuz we won state last year
